OMG I never expected to ever see my favourite Star Wars game ever to make it onto Switch... Jedi Knight II was the first gamer clan I was in. We used to love that multi-player jedi-on-sith lightsabre action, which has sadly been removed from this port?!!

Drift is basically pretty much inevitable because of the poor design of the mechanism within the joy-con/lite controller joy-sticks. I'm sure we'll see many more such cases, but Ninty can just fix it on a case-by-case basis so it's no big worry to them.

What I don't understand is Nintendo knew about this inherent defective fault in the joy-con's joystick, so WHY use the same defective part in the Switch Lite's controllers? This was a perfect opportunity to get it right using upgraded/tested parts, but no. Well I suppose in Nintys eyes it's if it's defective they'll just fix it under warranty - and let their customers be without their beloved system for several weeks. Nice one Nintendo, nice one!

TBH I'll just fix it myself, I've got both switch cleaning fluid and a spare joystick to replace it with.

OK so when you get to their Support page where do you go next? I typed in a search for controller drift and none of the options were helpful.

My right-hand joy-con has literally just started drifting downwards in the last week?!? I've updated/re-calibrated but there was no change, so I've already ordered some switch contact cleaner and a spare replacement analogue stick in case that doesn't work. This is pretty shoddy really, Ninty ought to compensate us for what seems like a inherent hardware fault.

Wait what! Did you recommend disconnecting/reconnecting electrical connections WITH THE BATTERY STILL CONNECTED?!! This is definitely not a good idea - disconnect the battery first to avoid shorting anything out, injury or explosion.

Can we just retro-fit this upgraded processor chip? I'm guessing not.

No way does ARK:Survival on Switch warrant a 4/10 (shame on NL)... check out player reviews 7/10!!!

Once you get used to the low-res graphics you find that it runs smoothly, it plays well, you can solo and take it on the go #InstantArcFun and "you’re still getting the ‘full’ Ark experience".

ARK is a brilliant game and suits the Switch very well. Granted that people discount it because of the low-res graphics, however it actually runs very smoothly (even compared to PC versions on low-end rigs) and the 'game-play' - the ARK experience - is actually excellent. Please note that 'players ratings' are much higher than NL's appalling review. Don't believe NL, pick it up from the bargain bin and make your own mind up... Soloing ARK on Switch is great fun!

I'm sure that these 'rumours' are perpetuated by Nintendo's competitors to 'harm' the sales and overall success of the Switch. Best ignore and deny any speculation until Ninty actually 'reveal' something themselves (if it's even true, which I don't think it is).

@Lionyone I've played 73 hours of CMS 2015 on PC and really enjoyed it, I guess it's just down to personal preference (never only listen to the critics). I've just downloaded the (free) Android version and comparing it with gameplay footage on the Switch I can see that it's exactly the same game - and I haven't been able to put it down all evening. lol

The main differences I can see between CMS 2015/2018 and this is that they've changed the look and feel (you can't walk around your garage/cars), removed the grind (of loosening/tightening every single bolt) and omitted the test-drive/diagnostic part (which won't really be missed anyway).

All in all its a great simulator on whichever platform you play it on.

Where is the review for this game? It's totally awesome, and a really really good way to learn all about car mechanics #Edutainment

I installed it, never played it then uninstalled it. Plenty of other good games I'd rather play.

Bah to their bad review, I've been holding out to get this on Switch ever since I heard about it. Having not experienced it on any other platform before, hopefully I won't know why they think it's so bad anyway. I will give a go none the less.
