Kerching! I admit I did sell some Nintendo shares to buy my Switch 2, but that was actually from realised gain effectively making it a free Switch 2. Game tf on!
Costs a fiver on 90% sale for what is the best pure Hunting simulator available on Switch. A bargain. Not a game for everyone, this is probably too difficult for 99% of gamers.
Absolutely loving it. Really glad for something completely different to the same old catch/grind/battle of these franchises. It's a deep and unique game, I've not played anything quite like it, definitely a 9/10 from me. Well done Bandai Namco good game!
Insta-buy for me! I'm loving the new unique 60/40 story/gameplay style. It's not just yet another turn-based grind 'em all battle strat 'mon clone, this really is something else. Great and inspiring story - we don't see enough of this, well done Bandai Namco, I'm lovin' it and wouldn't wanna miss out on this gem. Nevermind reviews, get it and make your own mind up about it, it's not what you might expect but it's a pleasant surprise.
Got over 300 hours on Ark Switch in its current state. Hasn't stopped us having fun in an all Switch tribe. (Check out BenZs Ark guides on Switch). Really looking forward to the Switches Ascent!
Well besides my usual staple of piratey stuff on Atlas. I have just completed King of Seas on my Switch and started playing The Last Campfire - what a delightful little game it is!
I absolutely love King of Seas, it's better on Switch than PC. A must-have take anywhere pirate ship sea adventure. More of a soft version of Tempest than hardcore ship sim, but a great fun casual game that just looks so gorgeous! And more content? Yo ho ho me hearties, what's not yo like, ah harr!
Playing Nexomon Extinction on my new Switch OLED, the colours are so vivid! It's a really good game that I snatched up whilst it was on discount. I will also play Regency Solitaire, an indie game coded by a good friend of mine.
Initially I wasn't that bothered about it, but now after consideration I only ever play it in handheld mode, I would like to be able to play outdoors more and most of all I want to support Nintendo so I will get one.
Jodie Whittaker was the worst Doctor Who ever. FACT! For that reason I'll be passing on this one (even if David Tennant was one of the best ever Doctors. And that ladies and gentleman is also a fact.)
I wasn't going to bother upgrading, but considering how much I play my Switch (in handheld only) I think I will grab one afterall. But I won't be preordering it.
It looks more like a competitor to the Steam Deck rather than the Nintendo Switch. I just wonder how long it will be till Ninty start issuing patent infringement legal cases. It like they innovate and no one else can come out with anything original. The Switch is still best at a fraction of the cost. X-D
I have long since given up on the over-hyped, over-priced and under-performing AAA titles. The majority of which always seem centered upon violence and killing. I have found so many more wholesome, creative and yes... 'fun' games from the Indie sector and for which the Switch is the perfect platform. Great value, excellent concepts and many really good indie games are far more deserving of my time and recognition than the mainstream passing fads and fashions that I think I'd be happy to never buy an AAA title again (but maybe that's just me)
Taken at face value this looks really unique and intriguing, I like the D&D-like aspect and the artstyle. Definitely another one to add to my 'to play' list.
I'm sick to the back teeth of all this pointless speculation which started as soon as Switch was first released. Its a great console as it is and doesn't need an upgrade to 'enhance the gameplay experience'. Let's just enjoy it for what it is and be satisfied with all the great games that it has and which are coming out for Switch. Let's just learn to quit with the nonsense hype and speculation and just be content with what we already have.
I totally forgot that this had come out on Switch. I loved it on PC, although I think that it's been trumped by Transport Fever 2 - it would be nice to see that come out on Switch too. Hey NintendoLife how about a review of Railway Empire (probably the best train tycoon sim on Switch, it's gotta be better than A-Train).
I played the demo on Steam, and this is an insta-buy for me on Switch. Think more along the lines of a cutesy Under the Jolly Rodger than Sea of Thieves (it's not first person, but 3rd person ship to ship fun).
Just played through the demo, it plays more like a cutsey kind of Under the Jolly Rodger, not at all Sea of Thieves. But actually a good fun little game quite suited to the Switch. I think it's an instabuy for me!
BTW you can scoop up Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection for Switch at a 50% discount right now. That's 2 fantastic games for half price, cheaper than eBay. Be stupid not to really!
Currently on 50% discount, pick it up and get two games for the price of the half of one. Set sail with the best games in the series, you won't be disappointed!
Hi @Clyde_Radcliffe yeah Assassin's Creed games are pretty mindless hack 'n slay, climbing and jumping on rooftops, mission-lead type games. AC:Black Sails introduces a really cool sailing mechanic and is probably the best game in the series tbh.
This weekend I've been really enjoying playing Under the Jolly Rodger (aka Tempest) for fun on the high seas. It was discounted recently, definitely worth picking up next time the discount comes about.
