Re: UK Pricing For Nintendo Labo Is Confirmed

It's overpriced when you consider that our currency has crashed #BlameBREXIT. But $70 is about £50, so it's actually cheaper to buy it from the US than in the UK as the Switch is region agnostic.

Re: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Started Out As A Paper-Based Prototype

I've been a fan of XCom since the (1994) original - turn based strat has always been a favourite genre of mine. I absolutely loved M&R:KB, in fact it was a deciding motivation to get a Switch. Great game, glad Firaxis have taken note. Now I just want to see XCOM 1/2 come out on the Switch!!! PLEASE!!!

Re: Pokémon GO's Legendary Pokémon Are Arriving Very Soon

Fantastic! This game has been so much fun over the last year and it just keeps on getting better (I never thought I'd hear myself saying that about a PKMN spin-off). What a fab reward the 1st year anniversary of this game which has taken the world by storm and brought PKMN back into global consciousness.

All the naysayers, whingers and quitters can sit down and take a back seat, it's not too late it's arrived exactly on time... now that we're 30+ Game on!

Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Dock Scratching Your Screen? Try This DIY Fix

"stick-on floor protector procured from IKEA" Are we serious right now, any idea how abrasive that stuff is?!! Repeated use of this kind of hack will only lead to the accumulation micro scratches on the screen each time it's docked. You definitely want to use micro-fibre, or soft spongy material product. Better still just get screen protectors, you'd be mad not to have them on already if you've got a Switch!

Re: Talking Point: Considering Nintendo's Portable Future

Is there any point second-guessing Ninty? They always pull something out of the bag and surprise us all. IMHO they peaked too soon with the New 3DS... instead of just a marginal upgrade over the 1st/2nd gen 3DS they could've really ramped up the hardware and exponentially boosted the power/performance whilst maintaining the back catalogue compatibility of 3DS/DS games. The New 3DS is a bit of a flop and isn't really worth the upgrade IMHO, but a better Newer 3DS with Switch-like (NVidia) architecture could step the DS line up a generation. Switch fails as a successor in that it isn't backwardly compatible with the 3DS/DS game library.
