Annapurna Interactive has wrapped up its first Showcase presentation, and it featured various welcome announcements for Switch players. There are new games, new looks and also a release window for an anticipated title.
You can see the whole thing above, and we've summarised the Switch news below.
Outer Wilds Gets Updated Switch Release Window
Outer Wilds was first announced for Switch back in February with a 'Summer' release target. The narrative-loop adventure mystery (it makes sense when you play it) is now planned for the Holiday season; good things come to those who wait. It also had a trailer (above) for its 'one and only' expansion - 'Echoes of the Eye'.
A Memoir Blue To Bring A 'Magical-Realist Journey' To Switch
This looks like an intriguing title from Cloisters Interactive, which blends 3D visuals with hand-drawn art. It's described as 'an interactive poem about a superstar athlete and the all-encompassing love between mother and daughter.'
Storyteller Is Puzzle Experience 'Coming Soon' To Switch
We really liked the look of this one - with a quirky and humorous style you're tasked with creating stories (to match themes) with specific pieces and a storyboard setting. Apparently you'll 'create everything from supernatural fantasies and Shakespearean tragedies to myths of creation and much more!'
Here's An Extended Look At Neon White
Creative Director Ben Esposito (well known for Donut County) gives an extended look at Neon White, an intriguing first-person game coming to Switch 'soon'.
There you have it, let us know what you think of these upcoming Switch games in the comments!

I'm hoping for Solar Ash and The Pathless on Switch one day.
Outer Wilds is genuinely one of the best games of all time. Never played a game like it before. I encourage everyone to give it a go.
I'll get Stray on my PS4 instead.
Shame it's not coming to Switch but I guess you can't have it all
Can't wait for Outer Wilds. It and Disco Elysium are two of the games I'm most looking forward to for the Switch in 2021.
Got outer wilds free for watching an E3 presentation on my Xbox one year. Honestly would have parted good money for it. Great game and looking forward to the expansion. Not going to double dip though.
Excited to check out Outer Wilds now that it's headed to Switch. Also gonna keep my eye on the other Switch titles shown; those look interesting.
@Nin10dood I believe it was timed PlayStation ever since it was announced.
PlayStation has a deal with the developers I think
@Jey887 good to hear! Your comment made me look forward to the game even more thanks!
Saw all the raving reviews last hear, but said to myself ‘this is a game I’d want to play on Switch.’
Neon White looks like a lot of fun, but FPS are unplayable with joycons so I'll get the steam version.
I love love love the work Annapurna publishes. They're the ones pushing the game industry forward and recognizing projects that push the envelope on games as art.
This day seems as good a time as any to tell you you ought to play "What Remains of Edith Finch" before you die.
Outer Wilds will be released in the holiday season, do they mean around Christ'mas time? (if so I wish they'd just say that).
@Kit Yeah, 'Holiday' normally means November / December
@Jey887 it is. Those 4 people who had played (me included) know that Outer Wilds is the best indie game of all time, the best game of the decade and one of the best games ever. Period. It's incredible. And i am not a fan of walking simulators (which is kind of).
Really. Everyone should play Outer Wilds. Is a life changer game that deserves every praise that it gets.
Thinking in cold, maybe is not the best game of the decade because of botw, but gets close.
