Smash Battles

Update: ALL daily battles have now been posted, so it's your final chance to influence the vote!

Earlier this month, we launched Smash Battles together with Nintendo UK and Arekkz gaming to celebrate the upcoming fisticuffs simulator coming to Nintendo Switch in December.

Smash Battles will culminate in a live stream tournament taking place at The Loading Bar in London on launch day, December 7th, which you can both get involved in and influence. If you live in the UK (sorry everyone else!) and fancy fighting alongside our own superstar Alex Olney and Alex "Arekkz" Noon, you can sign up for a spot at www.smashbattleslive.com and be in with the chance of winning a fancy limited edition Nintendo Switch. Remember, you'll need to be available next Friday and be able to travel to London.

While only four people will be able to join us to take part in the tournament, we want everyone to get involved and help select the top eight fighters for the contest. We've been posting a daily battle on our Instagram since the launch of the challenge to decide a daily winner based on popularity. We'll then take the top 8 daily winners into the final tournament.

You can vote for as many characters as you like and you can vote on any day until 48 hours before the tournament, so get voting for your main!

It's also worth mentioning that if you live in the London area, you're welcome to join us at the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Launch Party.

The big tournament will be happening at The Loading Bar, which is located in Shepard's Bush, London on the evening of 7th December – this just happens to be the launch day of a rather special Nintendo game, of course - the name of which escapes us right now.
