@Tayrailbridge I agree 45 really does make the difference, it takes that jarring edge off.
@EVIL-C I’m not being snobby, I literally am unable to play 30fps games.
How are people against 30fps ruining it for anyone?
Surely you can see it’s the other way around?
As those who are ok with it being 30 make it ok for companies to continue doing so, making it so people who cannot play 30 in turn cannot play these games.
@HalloHerrNoob When was it normal? It’s a very modern thing, almost all of my previous games from nes all the way up until now are running st the very least 50fps and even 30 on a crt is less jarring than 30 on an lcd. What games are you referring to?
The reason I am mostly digital is because I play mostly indie games. All my mainline games are physical. I would have gone more physical but because they are so niche there is a huge markup and scalping which I didnt want to be part of.
I’m intrigued by cosmic hare but as per usual I am into super niche games which nobody else cares about and so there are no reviews etc. maybe I should start making those reviews.
I'd say there are a lot more things in the gaming industry in front of the use of exclamation marks which need to go, micro transactions, 30fps, unfinished games, games as a service....
@Spider-Kev go to the far right on the home screen to see all of your games and then press L I think to go to folders, they are called groups. It says at the top right when you are looking at all of your games. You need to have more than 12 games to access that feature.
It’s probably too late in the switch’s lifecycle to expect anything novel such as home screen music etc. I still massively appreciate the folders update from a few years ago. I use those pretty much daily.
I would like to see the very minimum of framerates at least equalling the originals, preferably improving on them and absolutely under no circumstances whatsoever, making them worse. It’s unacceptable.
I would also like to see more nes classic remix styled compilations.
I’m going to pick up the collectors edition. It comes with eye drops which allows you to play the game for more than 5 minutes without your eyes catching fire due to the impressively low frame rate.
@Yalloo TBF I work for a medium sized company and our systems are horrendous. Although the company I work for is smaller than Nintendo it handles sums of money several times larger than Nintendos evaluation and with that amount of money flying around you'd think our systems would work better and that was very naive of me.
@Yalloo Tried all browsers, hardware, even other people I know have this issue. Contacted nintendo. I assume it's either system wide or affecting a larger group of people and not just me.
This is good news. Been a fan of Lukes for years now and this will bring well deserved attention to his fantastic channel. This will also help highlight these scam companies. It’s funny when a company does this to themselves. Streisand effect in full force, well done.
Looks great I just really hope it has a decent framerate. It would be a waste to see such graphics and art style ruined by something like that. I was unable to play octopath as the overworld framerate cooked my eyes.

It’s very simple, if it’s not backwards compatible I wont be getting it or at least not for years.

@the_beaver @rallydefault
People here on this forum for some reason love low framerates.
And no I was not trolling/baiting although I was being sarcastic.
I made a post on here and people seem fine with broken games for some reason.
