HGSS are good remakes, but the base game sucks (Pokémon Gold is my least played pokémon and Heart Gold is the second least played).

Fire Emblem Echoes has good production values, but they dumbed down the game.

I will not even comment on the new art direction of Advance Wars remake...

So I will choose Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Good visual overhaul without changing the mechanics too much.

Of course that Game Freak can (and should) make better pokémon, but you all fail to note one thing:

Pokémon Ethos is trading and battling. it makes little sense do think that pokémon is only a single player rpg. Pokémon is more a social game than a campaing game.

As a PvP player only, I do not have complaints about Scarlet and Violet. For me, what lacks is a mode to skip all campaing and let me start at the end game.

For me this is bad. Those AA games that I like - the middle that they said - is the ones that they do not want to make. They will be either indies (in the scope) or AAA.

This implies that we will not get FFTA3.

AI and generative AI are two distinct things. Just like engines, we already can see a lot of people commenting without any knowledge about the tech in question. Sigh.

AI can be greatly used on enemies, for example. Trinagle Strategy enemies are dumb as doors and with machine learning, they can adapt with the player style of play.

This could be very good for strategy games.

Pokémon is a social experience. The ethos is to battle and trade with other people.

Because of that that I think is non-sense to compare with other series. Like, Cassete Beasts does not even have PvP and this is my greatest reason to play Pokémon.

Pokémon is too big to be considered just a "monster catching RPG".

In my travels to South/Central America it is super common to see construction workers, office guys, etc have a beer at lunch.

I live in a capital in Brazil, with 2.5M inhabitants and this is not common at all. South América is too big and too different to generalize anything.
