In this case, you are speaking sales in US of A, right? The series had moderate success in the niche in some parts of the Europe, but only after the tv series that it became an international hit.

I am not from US of A. My point was in this context. I do not read nor have interest in north-american critics of north-american books.

The only point that we can agree is that the tv series made the books a cultural phenomenon.

@-wc- A Cabeça do Santo, by Socorro Acioli, is a weak book (With a strong consensus among the negative reviews), but they turned into a TV show and the success of the show made the book a bestseller.

As I not watch north-american tv shows, I have nothing to say about the adaptation of Martin's books, but the point is that (almost) any book can be adapted and sometimes the original source is more an inspiration.

I read that Game of Thrones tv show is not a faithful adaptation of the books.

But Martin is a mediocre author. He made success because of the adaptation of his books.

I never cared about Elden Ring because of this.

Also, they usually do not localize its games into portuguese or latin américa spanish.

Played the demo, the system of these silly brainless puzzles in the middle of the action actually sucks, to be honest.

Physical cards on Switch 2 are too slow (I have Mario Kart World physical and it is baffling how slow is in comparison with the digital).
