Re: Best Final Fantasy Games, Ranked - Switch And Nintendo Systems

@Tyranexx

I'll admit that Final Fantasy II at #10 (as of this writing) made me do a double-take as this is widely regarded as the worst mainline Final Fantasy. Then I remembered that FF II (SNES) = FF IV.

Uh? Sorry, but if you had read the text beyond the title, you would not be confused, since the first sentece is "Final Fantasy IV (originally known as II) ".

@Jezebelley

it's a great franchise! Mario meets Xcom.

More like the XCom reboot, not the original. And for some of us the reboot sucks.

Also, as a fan of strategic games (the only games that I start at the hardest difficulty), I do not recommend Mario + Rabbids, since they are very weak as strategy games.

The first one is one of my biggest regrets on Switch (the other games that I regreted are Poly Bridge, Hentai Girls and Banner Saga).

@rushiosan

They can't go above 33%, that's pretty much a fact. That much for a 2017 game is insulting.

Why? I do not get it. Of course that we always want to pay less, but why a game should be devalued because was not launched in the current year?

A person buying the game today will have the same content (if not more) that I had at the launch.

The logic that a game should be cheaper because is "old" is flawed and used more by people addicted to buy instead of play it.

@IsThis5or6

If only Square ever did worthwhile sales on their TWO year old games.

This does not make sense at all. Why a game needs to be devalued because it is not new? The hours that a player can enjoy today are the same that I enjoyed at the launch.

The same people that only buy (and never play) games at deep discount are the ones complaining about layoffs and microtransations. Go figure...

@Dissident

so you still have the mentality of caring about console wars. Got it.

Saying that launching in a multi consoles is bad because its fragment the online aspect - which is a fact - is the same as being a "console warrior"? Or does this game have crossplay? You surely did not read this article nor the official game site.

I think that you understood what I said but instead, you are acting like a 10 years old.

sigh.

You also said this:

Make it available to more people.

But the game will not have portuguese nor arabic localization. That's more than half billion people. But I did not see you complaining about that, since this - in fact - would make the game avaiable to more people.

In the end, it is just subjective. If someone likes just one console, what is the matter? Let him be happy and you can be happy with your choice.

Re: Every Basketball Game On Nintendo Switch

I have 50 hours in NBA Playgrounds 2 and to get the gold with some players are very hard (seriously? rebounds and blocks with John Stockton?!?!), plus, the portuguese localization is awful, they changed "offensive" with "defensive".

Good gameplay though, but with a bit unfair mechanics.

NBA 2K I buy only one for each console, being doing that since NBA2k3 on Game Cube. The series is, in fact, the best baskteball game avaiable.

@Dissident

why do you care if exclusive or not? I don't get it. Make it available to more people

Probably by the same reason you cared about him caring.

This whole talk about "most people should play" is so condescending.

Also, the game has an online PvP aspect and this beneficts of a centralized community. This one, alone, is a great reason to "care" about its exclusivity.
