Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom's Frame Rate Is "Even Worse" Than Link's Awakening

@Savage_Joe

Nintendo should learn to use and let their consoles be fully compatible with 3rd party engines.

But they are and this is good.

But you will never reach the full potential of a console using a 3rd party middleware, because of that that Nintendo themselves never use a general purpose 3rd party middleware (they used a physics based for Zelda though).

You have more productivity with them (because they are faster and generic), but you lost performance (because of the high abstraction).

Makes no sense to use them in a 1st party development.

Re: Geoff Keighley Would Love Nintendo To "Be A Big Part" Of Summer Game Fest

ImpromptuR

No, thanks.

I think that Nintendo should not associate with this big ego full of himself. He represents all the bad things that we got in this industry.

Plus, he used his father fame to open some doors.

Games should be for everyone, but this Keighley do not care about that at all. It is not summer for everyone, and not everyone is awake at PST.

Re: Review: Wizardry: Proving Grounds Of The Mad Overlord (Switch) - A Grand Remake Of An Iconic Game

Sigh. I really like NL staff, but these things sums everything that is wrong in the gaming scene these days.

we resorted to an online map or two to help along the way

The grind makes it a great 'podcast game,'

The best way to play a RPG is to immerse itself in the world, get lost and learn things the hard way.

Using online guides and playing while listening a podcast simply removes the "R" from RPG.

Re: Review: Slayers X (Switch) - A Fun But Basic Boomer Shooter That Lacks An X Factor

@TotalHenshin I do not even know what a "boomer" is supposed to mean.

Despite being a british blog, that caters to usofans, Nintendo Life audience is from all around the world. And would be cool if they are really interested in inclusion, and be inclusion for all, not for some topics only.

A definition of these slangs on the review (even as a footnote) would be greatly appreciated.

Re: SteamWorld Heist Is Getting A Surprise Sequel On Switch This Summer

@Danondorf Steamworld Heist Miiverse page was also pretty popular back then.

And I mean, Steamworld Heist is a 3DS game from 2015, Steamworld Dig 2 is from 2017, when every eShop launch were big. It makes no sense to talk about Heist in 2017 though.

I still use the Steamworld Heist theme in one of my 3DS.

But in the end, all of these games are (will be) on Switch now, so let us rejoice.
