Pokémon Gold and Silver are, for me, the worst in the series. A remake of a bad game is still a bad game.

Gold and Heart Gold are the only Pokémon games that I played for less than 50 hours.

Nintendo should learn to use and let their consoles be fully compatible with 3rd party engines.

But they are and this is good.

But you will never reach the full potential of a console using a 3rd party middleware, because of that that Nintendo themselves never use a general purpose 3rd party middleware (they used a physics based for Zelda though).

You have more productivity with them (because they are faster and generic), but you lost performance (because of the high abstraction).

Makes no sense to use them in a 1st party development.

We all know that this is because of usofan hipocrisy, let us be honest here.

This is what happens when you use a 3rd party middleware.

Nintendo should not let partners to use these generic engines in their franchises.

The major complaint were that the drops/rewards were too scarce, so they made the game easier in all difficulties and expanded the inventory if I remember right.
