Let’s just face it; Mother 3 won’t come. A game doesn’t take this long to localize, and Nintendo have also said that they’ve dropped the traditional Virtual Console, which means that they’re only releasing retro games with online play support from now on. All the odds are against it happening.

It’s not ethical, that’s for sure. I’ve never understood why Sony and their PS4 are so popular.

Imagine suddenly waking up in the middle of the night and hearing someone scream. You slowly go out of your room, and try to turn on the lights, but the electricity is not working. You start walking through the hallway as your eyes begin to adjust to the darkness.

Suddenly, you hear a laugh that sounds like a baby, but lower in pitch, and see two red lights far away in the hallway. The lights start coming closer and closer. You try to run back to your room, but you can’t move, and something wet, smelly and cold hugs you.

It starts whispering in your ear.

Your sight is pretty clear now, and you can see what it is. It’s this bear, it’s very close to you, and it has a sadistic, deformed grin on its face, with red, shining eyes.

Your ear starts hurting, as it bites you very hard and starts screaming.

I played the demo, and I still can’t get into this game. I try to like it, but there’s something about it that makes my brain say ”Nope”.

If anyone wonders what the ”inappropriate” posts were, one of them was apparently a picture of the 9/11 landscape with Sakurai-san’s face plastered over it. [EDIT: Oh, my comment was censored! It originally said "freaking ワンカーズ" after the first sentence. Gee, I wonder who it could be...]

@Hughesy What headsets aren’t trash, then? I’ve been using a Turtle Beach headset for a long time, and I personally haven’t had any problems with the sound quality.

It’s so hard to choose a decent headset. The Sennheiser one I bought was one of the best headsets according to a popular Swedish website, but it sounded like crap when I tried it. Sure, I got my money back, but the headphone market is still very confusing, in my opinion. I’m glad that I finally found a seemingly good headset that I’m planning on buying soon (the Turtle Beach Recon 320).

Labo seems like a fad that will die out soon, in my opinion. It doesn’t have the kind of concept that keeps being interesting for a long time.

The Switch is also much better than the Wii U. It has better games and a more interesting concept, in my opinion.

People like that are real douches and their behaviour shouldn’t be tolerated, but that doesn’t mean all hackers are like that.

@BulbasaurusRex The problem is that Nintendo sometimes has censored things that wouldn’t give games higher age ratings than in Japan by either PEGI or ESRB, like removing the hints of Vivian’s transsexuality in Paper Mario TTYD and the tapping mini game in Fire Emblem Fates. Most other companies are more lax than Nintendo when it comes to stuff like that.

For example, the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney localization team has kept in all of the ”offensive” themes (except one single pedophile joke that would have raised the rating overseas), and it has never given the games higher age ratings than in Japan, so it has proved to not be an issue.

By the way, Fire Emblem Fates has a C (15 and up) rating in Japan, while the previous games in the series were rated A (All ages) and B (12 and up), so the only reason Nintendo had to censor the game and lower the rating was to get more money. The game was never intended to be rated T.

I got introduced to the world of gaming when I was about five years old. The first console I got was a DS Lite, and I was very happy since I only had got to try other people's consoles before.

I'm on a hunt for headsets right now. My old Turtle Beach Wii U headset started acting up recently, so I bought a Sennheiser Game One headset, but it sounded too muddy to me (even though other people gave it a lot of good reviews). It also sounded much less clearer than my old headset, so I'm thinking about buying a headset from Turtle Beach again.

This creeps me out a lot, I didn't know about this before... I haven't played a lot of games recently, but since I bought Splatoon 2, I've been been playing about 10-20 hours per week. I never feel like I can't stop playing if I need to, and I also like to go for a walk.

Honestly, people should stop using mobile phones so much instead. It really annoys me when everyone around me is staring at their phones like zombies. I personally don't use my phone anymore since it gave me a lot of stress and made me anxious, and I've felt so much more free in my life since I stopped using my phone.

Looks like an average Steam retro game. There's too many of them, in my opinion.

Oh no. I watched a lot of Disney Channel when I was younger for some reason, and looking back on it now, I have no idea why I liked the typical American sitcoms that they showed. I hope this decision at least will be good for marketing.

Ah, finally a NL comment section where not literally everyone screams out their hate of hackers! I thought I’d never see the day...

I don’t like where Nintendo is going with this... But I guess I’ll subscribe anyway for that sweet Splatoon 2 online play. I wish Nintendo had just kept everything the way it was with the Wii U instead of shutting down Miiverse, removing the music of the whole OS, making you have to pay for online play and now this.
(By the way, I’ve never seen a typo in a NL article title before. This site’s quality isn’t what it used to be.)

Nintendo's E3 shows used to be more unique and magical when they were live on stage, in my opinion. Most of Nintendo's greatest E3 moments are from that time too. The Direct format is also nice, though.

I honestly don’t care for that show. Both Kit and Krysta seem like they’re trying so hard to act extremely ”child-friendly and jolly” all the time, and it annoys me. They should be more self-aware in my opinion, but they can’t really change their personalities at this point since they’ve already established that ”over the top kiddy” image, so they should hire more people to the show to make it more balanced and appeal to a larger audience.

(By the way, ’krysta’ actually means ’to express oneself in a forced way’ in my language, haha!)

The thumbnail should have said "Europe" somewhere, in my opinion. It made me think the game was exclusive to North America and Japan.

When Nintendo releases a new flagship system after the Switch, I hope they at least port Smash 5 to it if it will be the last game in the series.

They really didn't have much to announce this E3, so not suprised. Here's hoping 2019 will be a better year for Nintendo.

I've played this game and I really like it, but I probably won't double-dip considering I already have it on Steam and PC has better controls for point-and-click games, in my opinion. Psychonauts would fit the Switch better.

This is ファッキン ridiculous, especially since it works for all other consoles except the Switch. I think the audience who played this on PS4 would rather keep playing on Sony's console instead of having to delete their entire account. Disconnecting your PSN account doesn't even seem to work for some people, which just makes this even worse.

I really hoped to see it... Ah well, a delayed game will eventually be good, but a rushed game will always be bad.
