@Nintendofan83 I was looking for extra Switch USB-C cords 2 days and randomly noticed they had empty boxes on their site under replacements. $1.50 a piece or 6 for 7 bucks.

That's pretty good, though I'm sure someone will be flogging these on eBay by the end of the day. Obviously that's not a terrible thing because some people won't have access to a printer.

Woulda been cool if the reward was the actual empty box shipped with that cover, but I guess I should stop hoping Nintendo puts anything worthwhile on there

Love this expansion too,but I'm so hopeless at it.I seem to find alot of the levels too hard and frustrating mainly because I just can't get used to the controls.Now I know why I hadn't played the main game in over a year.

@Jack_Goetz My printer produces color with the quality of a kindergarten water color set. I'll likely buy it on eBay for a couple bucks.

why not take out your old splatoon 2 case and replace it with this new one.. If you got it retail version of course lol.

really? What a joke. Can't even be bothered to print a piece of paper and mail it out and ask for premium currency for it? Even GalGun2 is sending out free replacement art no questions asked for those who don't want the wild guns misprint on it. So lazy. Either give the image away free, or charge the coins and send it out to people.

I played the beta of Splatoon 2, but is the majority of the game mainly multiplayer focused? I like this DLC cuz it seems it has more single player things, but I especially don't like PvP, & don't want to have to buy the game & the add on to just play the add on... So I pass.

Most of us have way more platinum coins than we know to do with. If we could buy it we would. But when it's not on our local MyNintendo there's not much we can do.

@the8thark NP. I know how it feels to not even have the opportunity to give them my money, much less some...whatever silver coins is, lol. It's only 3.98mb when I downloaded it, but I am on mobile, so it's possible the pdf viewer compressed it. Can anyone else confirm the size? Oh, my bad, i forgot u said u did get it elsewhere, too. I was thinking u meant my file in particular.

@twztid13 I did mean your file but yeah it seems the file might be compressed. But if you click on the download now it seems to give a 4.2MB PDF which should be good enough.

Physical game collectors for this generation can be some really odd people, they literally just want to keep cases around.

Now this is the kind of rewards I want, as silly as it may seem.

@hirokun Yeah TBH this isn't a great reward in my opinion. Fan made covers would have popped up anyway if they haven't already and they'd be free. Other companies would make things such as wallpapers free on the games web site as a promotional tool. I'd save the coins for something that won't be readily available elsewhere.

I like the cover, but not the fact its costing coins and the user has to go print it themselves anyway. On the plus side its a good way to get an absolutely exact template for DIY covers for NTSC region games (others may need to center the spine text).

Not sure why you'd put an ESRB stamp on it either given the covers a self print job. May as well have left that off and had a cleaner box.

Edit: For those inclined see below for a link to two alternative SKyrim covers. I'm sure many know but a fair few Switch titles already ship with reversable covers too. Tropical Freeze is a recent one.

@twztid13 Splatoon 2 has a Singleplayer campaign. It takes about 5 hours to complete the first run. After that you can replay all the levels with different weapons. If you don't like PvP there is also a PvE mode that is pretty good (but only available at specific times for somw reason).

Right now the digital version is on sale so you get Splatoon 2 + Octo expansion for the same price you would normally pay for the main game alone.

I looked at the Nintendo e3 sale the 1st day & it was $80 for a bundle with game & expansion, yet the game itself was on sale, so it was cheaper if bought separately, but maybe they just hadn't updated it yet. I'm super broke at the moment, anyway (unemployed for 8 months, actually), so I'll have to wait until I finally get an income again. I have been interested in it for a while because its charm & I love the soundtrack I heard during the beta. Knowing it has a small campaign, ill definitely pick it up eventually. I really don't understand the pve that's only available at certain times. I can't even fathom a guess as to why they wouldn't want to possibly attract fans like me at all times.
