It’s unfortunate, I really hope Nintendo will change its mind on their retro games distribution. At least give Switch owners the option to buy the games offered on the NSO subscription and be able to carry them over to their next console without an upgrade fee. At this point, I would be happy if they add GBA and Gamecube to Expansion Pak subscription.

Nintendo president Furukawa said he grew up playing the Famicom, I interpreted as a hint he would be very open to give fans access to Nintendo’s library of retro games. Instead we get slow drip of Expansion Pak subscription that gives one N64 game a month that we also got on the virtual console.

Can we please get an official announcement first before hyping us for something that might not be announced? It’s bad enough there were multiple articles about Goldeneye’s announcement being imminent, we all know what happened then. It’s fine to release a poll on this but please wait for an official announcement first.

Is there a possibility for the rumored Fire Emblem game currently in development to be a remake of Binding Blade?

If they do I would buy every release under it. I would love a Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon Colosseum and Paper Mario Thousand Year Door on Switch. But the NES Classic line on GBA was a half effort that left out many classics such as Super Mario Bros. 3 and Kirby’s Adventure. The Gamecube classics line was attempted on the Wii under the motion control series but there were not many titles released for it. I hope you are right but I have doubts we will actually get it.

Laura Kate Dale is the worst. I’m still angry about her hyping up Mother 3 for virtual console on Switch back in early 2017. Any rumors she post I immediately chuck it into the trash/ fake info pile.

GBA games for NSO please!

55 tracks in 5 countries? Come on, spread them across 30 countries!

Just put most of the games from the 3DS and Wii U eShop on the Switch. At least add GBA and DS games to the Switch Online Expansion Pak so we still have some kind of access. As for actual Wii U and 3DS games they should be part of the expansion subscription on the Switch successor.

Why couldn’t the virtual console games just carry over to the Switch eShop? Not everyone wants a subscription to play a fraction of the virtual console titles under NSO.

How likely will it be for Sunsoft to release a Looney Tunes compilation? I don’t know how willing WB is currently on licensing their properties.

I was hoping for a new Mario, Donkey Kong game or a Metroid Prime remaster this fall.

I hope we get some more first party Nintendo games this fall. It looks pretty bare bones so far.

It’s odd that Nintendo Russia site was updated with Mario Strikers and Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes for Switch after Nintendo announced they were suspending their operations in Russia.

In the meantime Nintendo continues to release new games in Russia and operate its business there while fearing a backlash from releasing Advance Wars.

Still waiting for that Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD release on Switch that Grubb said it’s coming out.

Given the huge amounts of remakes and remastered games from both Nintendo and Square, I’m surprised they haven’t gotten together to remaster or remake Super Mario RPG yet.

I wish we get additional spin off Mario games these days other than just Mario sports and party titles like in the early 90s. I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a new Mario Paint game yet.

I miss the days NES, Super NES and Game Boy games were found in stores brand new. Now it’s difficult to even find used copies for good prices.

They should do the free pizza for Cowabunga Collection too.

I ordered the physical release of the first game last year and still haven’t received it yet.

Nintendo and Sony need to release new mini consoles as well.

I would love a physical release of the all the older Pokémon titles too but knowing Nintendo they will most likely re-release each title for $10 digital like they did for Gen 1 and 2 on virtual console.

I’m begging the Pokémon Company to port the original Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Fire Red/ Leave Green to Nintendo Switch. I missed out on playing these games in the GBA era.

Here’s the million dollar question: Will we ever get a real Banjo Kazooie 3?

Maybe this game became Kirby Return to Dreamland?

I tried playing the first KOTOR and got lost on where to go/ what to do at the beginning right after getting off the ship. Anyone else had the same problem? Does this game also have places where players tend to get stuck?

The one leaker who has no credibility I know of is Laura Kate Dale. I still remember how she claimed Nintendo Switch will have virtual console and Mother 3 will be released on it back in 2017.

With so many companies releasing retro game compilations, I wish Nintendo would release compilations of their games. Sure we got select compilations like Super Mario 3D All Stars but it’s meager compared to other developers’ compilation offerings.

That’s good to know, but I guess that’s only good while we still are able to redownload our purchases. I really hope Nintendo will add a purchase option for retro games on their Switch Online subscription with the option to download our purchased games on older console for free like what Sony just announced. But given it’s Nintendo I have little expectation that they would do or even consider this.

Compared to Microsoft and Sony, it’s terrible how Nintendo handles purchased games carried to the next system. Basically if my Wii U dies everything not only from the Wii U but the Wii die with it. Nintendo’s competitors allow users to redownload purchased games on the next generation console without forcing the content on the previous console to be deleted. It’s unfortunate our purchases from the Wii U cannot be carried over to the Switch, basically typing all paid downloads to the fate of the console they were purchased on.
