Do you guys think we will eventually get Gen 1-3 on Switch?

Since they didn’t add any N64 games this month, today would have been perfect to add Pokémon Stadium. But since they didn’t announce Gen 1 or 2-3, do you guys think they will eventually add/ release them on Switch?

Maybe Nintendo will put Revelations on 3DS NSO app whenever that comes out

I agree but I was hoping for at least Gen 1 given the disclaimer taken down from Stadium trailer about Pokémon cannot be transferred and I guess the classic games were heavily rumored/ hyped/ the Presents announcement playing Gen 1 music and showing 151 original Pokémon

Sigh, was really hoping for Gen 1-3 on NSO. I guess rental only Pokémon for Stadium on NSO?

I’m curious as to whether Mother 3 will again be released only in Japan on GBA NSO. I would say it’s basically the last hope of the West getting an official release. Outside of a remake I don’t think we will ever see Mother 3 if it only gets a Japan release on NSO.

Not to nitpick but they need to officially release the Pokémon video games before releasing the movies in China.

Is there’s a possibility of Nintendo giving us the option to buy the games before they eventually discontinue the service? I don’t want to lose my save data in the games on NSO.

I wonder when Black and White remakes will be released. Probably not this year.

I actually hope the games will arrive via eShop instead of NSO. If they get put on NSO we will eventually lose all of our Pokémon and badges when the games disappear when Nintendo eventually discontinues the service.

Any chance they can open branches of this museum in the West as well?

I don’t think they will release Mother 3 in the West.

This proves DS games are possible to port to Switch.

What happened to the rumored February 10 release date?

Can we get Gen 3 Pokémon and Mother 3?

How about the one more thing being the return of virtual console with all consoles up to Gamecube available day one?

Star Fox wasn’t released on Wii.

Here’s hoping Gamecube games will be announced in the upcoming Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo should migrate all the games on sale from Wii U and 3DS eShop to Switch eShop.

Is NYC safe to go visit now? I heard there’s a lot of crime and it’s dangerous, especially for Asians.

I know the customs sometimes have to inspect certain items to prevent the world from devastation, but this is a bit overboard.

They shouldn’t complain about the low sales of Mario Rabbids 2. I bought the first game at launch and they discounted the price by over 50% only 3 months later. No way people will go through that again.

I wish they sell Super Nintendo consoles in Super Nintendo World.

Very shocking since any crime in general is rare in Japan.

As for Switch Online Expansion Pak, in addition to Game Boy and GBA, I hope an option to purchase the titles will also be added.

I completely agree. But Nintendo made a mess of that with virtual console and I don’t trust them on that based on past records.

The classic games released under Switch Online and Expansion Pak should carry over to the next system. Nintendo has a bad habit of releasing all their classic games from scratch each time a new console is launched.

The GBC came out before N64 was discontinued. I think the N64 was discontinued after the GBA was released around late 2001/2002.

The answer is it’s Nintendo. They always have to go out of their way to frustrate their loyal fanbase.

Why can’t Nintendo give us a compilation like this for Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Kirby, Donkey Kong and Metroid instead of locking their retro games behind a vault or a paywall under a subscription plan?

Switch physical standard edition already sold out.

Why aren’t there any options to purchase the games? Why can’t Nintendo offer a virtual console and subscription option for us to choose from? All retro games have to be behind a paywall. Nintendo needs a change of top managers to the executives who think like those in charge of Xbox team.

I’m hoping they would announce the release date at Game Awards later this week. Since we are only in the beginning of December there’s still hope Goldeneye will be released before the year ends.

Why didn’t they give a release date for Goldeneye? Are they waiting for the war in Ukraine to end before releasing it?

I wish I were as young as the Nintendo Wii console or even the Super Nintendo system.

Pokémon launch no longer feels special. The launch day for Pokémon Red and Blue for the first time in the West and Gold and Silver felt like long awaited special event filled with hype and excitement. Now a Pokémon game launch is pretty meh.

Any chance Fukura can be in the next Smash Bros. game?

Jeff Grubb you said the remaster is coming. Don’t get us all hyped then go into silence mode refusing to take responsibility after your source leak failed to come true.

The only Western counterpart of Shigeru Miyamoto I can think of is George Lucas.

So many game companies are remastering and re-releasing their classic games on modern consoles either in compilations or individually. Except Nintendo, they just love to lock their classic games behind a paywall. In the meantime, their physical versions of classic games become more and more unaffordable for many gamers.
