Let’s stop this already. This has been going on for years on the rumored Metroid Prime remaster and still nothing. We are still waiting for that Goldeneye remaster and Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD on Switch.

I miss the days NES, Super NES and Game Boy games were found in stores brand new. Now it’s difficult to even find used copies for good prices.

They should do the free pizza for Cowabunga Collection too.

I ordered the physical release of the first game last year and still haven’t received it yet.

Nintendo and Sony need to release new mini consoles as well.

I would love a physical release of the all the older Pokémon titles too but knowing Nintendo they will most likely re-release each title for $10 digital like they did for Gen 1 and 2 on virtual console.

I’m begging the Pokémon Company to port the original Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Fire Red/ Leave Green to Nintendo Switch. I missed out on playing these games in the GBA era.

Here’s the million dollar question: Will we ever get a real Banjo Kazooie 3?

I tried playing the first KOTOR and got lost on where to go/ what to do at the beginning right after getting off the ship. Anyone else had the same problem? Does this game also have places where players tend to get stuck?

The one leaker who has no credibility I know of is Laura Kate Dale. I still remember how she claimed Nintendo Switch will have virtual console and Mother 3 will be released on it back in 2017.

With so many companies releasing retro game compilations, I wish Nintendo would release compilations of their games. Sure we got select compilations like Super Mario 3D All Stars but it’s meager compared to other developers’ compilation offerings.

That’s good to know, but I guess that’s only good while we still are able to redownload our purchases. I really hope Nintendo will add a purchase option for retro games on their Switch Online subscription with the option to download our purchased games on older console for free like what Sony just announced. But given it’s Nintendo I have little expectation that they would do or even consider this.

Compared to Microsoft and Sony, it’s terrible how Nintendo handles purchased games carried to the next system. Basically if my Wii U dies everything not only from the Wii U but the Wii die with it. Nintendo’s competitors allow users to redownload purchased games on the next generation console without forcing the content on the previous console to be deleted. It’s unfortunate our purchases from the Wii U cannot be carried over to the Switch, basically typing all paid downloads to the fate of the console they were purchased on.

I transferred all my account purchases to the Wii U from Wii in 2012. Can I still download my original purchases to the Wii?

Speaking of Russian Ukraine war and Advance Wars delay, Nintendo said a few months ago it will suspend sales in Russia. Yet Nintendo Russia website has been updated with new upcoming games including Mario Strikers for Switch. It looks to be business as usual for Nintendo of Russia.

I guess Mother 3 to Western gamers is what Startropics games are to Japanese gamers. But apparently no Japanese gamer cares about Startropics.

I am very very behind. Haven’t watched new episodes since first season. I want to eventually watch every Pokémon episode but will take me at least 2 years to catch up.

3-4 Switch sounds like a right name for a sequel.

I do miss the earlier decades where games don’t just have unique regional artwork but manuals and maps (And guide books sold separately) as well. The only major great thing about modern game releases is the simultaneous launch for most major titles. I remember having to wait months for Paper Mario, Pokémon Gold and Silver and Zelda Majora’s Mask to come out after the original Japanese release.

I wonder why they stopped using different box art for each region now?

Can we get Super Mario Bros Super Show on blu-ray in the meantime to tide us over while we wait for the movie?

It’s unfortunate that the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pak killed any chance of a Nintendo 64 Classic Edition (Mini) release.

All the leaks these days. Nintendo didn’t even bother to send Mario and Luigi to fix the leaks.

Mother 1 was not translated a few years ago. It was translated around 1990 and the planned western release was cancelled right after the translation was done.

I wonder if this will be part of the Expansion Pak or as part of a new Advance Pak.

I don’t see why not. They put the first two gen games on VC. Maybe the Advance Pokémon games will be purchase only?

I wish Nintendo would release their Mario, Zelda and Metroid games in retro compilations besides Mario 3D All Stars on the Switch.

I wish we could get another 8 bit or 16 bit Legend of Zelda game.

I definitely plan to play the 3DS and Switch Fire Emblem some time soon. I enjoyed the GBA and DS games. Right now I’m working on the original NES Fire Emblem released for the Switch.

I’m frustrated that other companies make their classic games available to download but Nintendo keeps most of them only available as a subscriber to access on the Switch.
