Disney held its first ever video game showcase earlier on - showcasing all sorts of announcements, trailers and reveals for new and upcoming games.

Gargoyles Remastered
Disney announced it would be remastering the retro title Gargoyles. It'll be handled by Empty Clip Studio. This game was originally released on Sega's Genesis system in 1995. Platforms have not been confirmed, but we thought it was worthy of a mention here.

Disney remembers Gargoyles! 👀
Happy to see Disney give enough of a care to acknowledge both Gargoyles AND Monkey Island.
Disney has been remembering Gargoyles over the past few years, which makes me happy as well. Wonder if they'll time the game with the new/re-released comics they announced a month-ish ago.
Also, bring back the Disney Afternoon Collection. The fact that it skipped Nintendo consoles is just... wrong.

Do the graphics in Disney Speedstorm look 10 times better than Mario Kart? I think Nintendo need to hurry up and make Mario Kart 9 cos MK8 looks crusty even with the new courses

Since when has Monkey Island been owned by Disney? First time I ever heard of it (though I suppose it's because it's made by LucasArts).

Jungle Book Alladin and Lion King were not remasters, but ports.
Are we just getting a port of a genesis game? Or is it gonna be remastered with new graphics like Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap?
@Fizza I was just thinking the same thing, which is kind of funny with the similarities of Monkey Island and Pirates of the Caribbean.
@MatoFilipovic For added context, that was how it was introduced in the show (Disney basically just referencing some older games it's recently re-released). I've updated this though to avoid any further confusion. It was referred to as "Gargoyles Remastered" during the broadcast, that's about all we know.

Wikipedia says the atmosphere of Secret of Monkey Island is based on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland.
The atmosphere is really great in Monkey Island games. I am sure this one will be no different.
Shocked Disney is doing an exclusive game for the Switch. Might be timed, but I'm still surprised. With all the Kingdom Hearts drama, never thought I'd see an exclusive game.
