Ubisoft has shown a respectable amount of support for the Nintendo Switch over the past five years. If you're curious to see what else might be on the way from the third-party French company, read on.

A new report by the reliable leaker Tom Henderson on Xfire has shared details about "nearly 20" of Ubisoft's upcoming projects, based on several sources with "direct knowledge" of Ubisoft's plans.

Apart from an update on Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope - which is "going well" and is expected to release on time this year, perhaps the most interesting rumour here is a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising. It is supposedly already in development. Here's the full rundown from Henderson:

Ubisoft was apparently pleased with the performance of 2020's Immortals Fenyx Rising, and I've been informed that a sequel is in development.

The title is in its pre-production stage and presumably in development by Ubisoft Quebec, who is also working on a new Assassin's Creed title.

Recently, the studio has been hiring talent for the title, but no other details have been provided.

One other game mentioned that sounds like it could be in with a chance for a Switch release, is a new 2.5D Prince of Persia game, apparently taking inspiration from the Ori series. This is notably a different game to the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake.

A second Prince of Persia title is reportedly in the works at Ubisoft, with Ubisoft Montpellier being involved in the project. The game was described as taking "inspiration from Ori" and will be a 2.5D game.

Additional details on this title were slim, but I hope to be able to reveal more shortly. Nonetheless, it does seem that Ubisoft is actively working on a second Prince of Persia title.

You can get the full rundown about everything Ubisoft is rumoured to be releasing in the future over on Xfire.
