I'm fully back in zelda after taking a break so the rest of my summer is booked gaming wise. After that it'll be school so I won't be playing anything for a while, but I think I'll get to pikmin 4 eventually

@norwichred Most people didn't even own a wii u, and they did make some changes to the game as well as included all the dlc. A lot of people found that to be worth buying again and that's their business.

Also the dlc is a one time purchase for $25, if you already have the Nintendo online subscription+ expansion then you can play these tracks as a bonus. You aren't being forced to pay a subscription to play them.

Japan and it isn't even close, that NA cover is atrocious

I'm only about 15 hours in (curse you, finals!) But this is the most fun I've had with a game since, well, breath of the wild. I think this is a 10.

Don't blame them at all, I don't see why anyone would put a new third party title on switch in 2023, better to wait for nintendo to put out a new system that can actually keep up with the next gen performance- wise.

Eh, I dont really care what makes a traditional zelda game, there shouldn't be a checkbox that ninetendo has to fill out for every new zelda. On that note, botw is not only my favorite zelda but my favorite game of all time, so I'm not gonna complain

I'm a mario kart purist and never grew up on Disney so I couldn't possibly care less about the game itself, although this is the newest example showing that we DESPERATELY need a more powerful switch.

@Ryu_Niiyama why should they when it would take much more time/money to make a quality version on switch compared to newer systems when the switch playerbase is probably extremely small. Doesn't make sense, and if you want to play online shooters you probably aren't gonna be playing on switch.

Elden Ring had somehow sucked me in again, after taking my longest ever break from it (6.5 months) I couldn't fight the urge to jump back in anymore. The world, the combat, the bosses... Elden Ring is the best game I have ever played next to Breath of the Wild

Nah, I've got too much to play. Don't think I'll be buying another game until I'm done with zelda

I'm torn on this. On one hand this game will be higher quality with more content than any other $70 game, but on the other hand it's on a system that can't handle more than 1080p 60fps. Overall I'm okay with it given that its inevitable but if nintendo wants to release more titles at that price it better be on some better hardware

So maybe i don't have to use city tripper and azure rollers every race online??? That would be pretty cool

I should probably get around to playing luigis mansion 3, it looks pretty good but never wanted to pay full price. It's probably worth it for $40

@Dev9417 I think Kirby games are easy to a fault, which is why I've never been able to get into the series. Not that I'm all that upset about it because it's geared for kids, but when a game is so easy that it becomes boring I think that's a valid con, at least for me

Zelda is one of the few series where I keep the canon name of the protagonist. Same goes for mass effect

I like both quite a bit, but the colors on the Japan art edge It out ahead for me

These are both pretty bad, the art design on these are just not good at all. I guess I'll go with NA

Maybe once I get through my backlog, I've never played a fire emblem before so I'm hesitant on giving engage a shot. It'll take months to clean up the games I've piled up so once that and totk is taken care of if I still really want to try it I will.
