I'm not even done with persona 5 yet, that game is long as hell just to beat. But 3 and 4 will be on gamepass so I won't have to buy them. As for fire emblem, I still haven't played 3 houses and will play that before I get the new one, of course if it reviews well

Trying to figure out my favorite switch game made me realize just how little I played my switch this year, there just wasn't anything super compelling coming out and anything that did interest me I'd just get it on a more powerful system.

Regardless, I guess I'll give it to Legends Arceus. I mostly enjoyed it.

@eaglebob345 why would they, it takes less time and money and everyone will still buy it. I honestly hope they continue to release even more unfinished and buggy games because I'm curious just how low the bar is for pokemon fans

How does this run on switch? This seems like a fun title to just pick up and play on handheld but if it's a very significant downgrade I'll probably just get it on another console

Anyone buying a third party game on switch is shooting themselves in the foot, the system simply cannot run these games at an acceptable standard, especially in 2022. For me the switch is solely an Indie and exclusive machine

I know everyone hates these covers but I actually mess with the European version quite a bit, the art style is cool and has just the right amount of goofiness imo.

I've started playing Octopath Traveler, which I've been enjoying quite a bit. I thought the character's stories have been pretty cheesy thus far (not necessarily a bad thing) until I got to primrose... damn that was sad.

But I've got more free time than I anticipated this weekend, so I'll probably also return to the battlefield and engage in gloriously brutal combat in Chivalry 2, and continue my months long campaign in Crusader Kings 3

Yeah I think I'm well over third party switch ports, the system is kinda crap now. Will likely only be playing switch exclusives until the next model, which for me is not a lot

After growing up with Mario Kart and Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing there has never been any other type of kart racer that doesn't look like crap. I just don't see any reason why anyone would play this

They really made mario sound like Chris Pratt, which was the second best case scenario so I'll take it. Also Keegan absolutely killed it with toad, watching his scenes will be a blast

I bought an ac bundle on sale for Xbox for 24 bucks which included black flag, syndicate. And rogue. If you're looking to get an ac game/ bundle (or any ubi game) just know that you can get steep discounts

If you told me in June 2019 that we wouldn't get BOTW2 (TOTK) until may 2023 i would've cried, now 7 months and 4 weeks seem manageable lol

The only thing shown that I actually plan on playing is TOTK, which makes this direct a 10/10. its my most anticipated game ever

Both look good, I wish nintendo would release dope variants like these closer to the system's actual launch. My regular switch works just fine and I have no intention on upgrading until the next gen model, but they wait so long to put out actually good variants that I always just end up getting the basic color scheme

Also link looks like his parents just walked in on him in his room at an inconvenient time, if you get my drift. idk, im usually a fan of full art covers but just not this time around I guess

I have to agree with thos review and I still wished that they put the same level of quality into these tracks as they did the original 48.

But im also a sucker for mario kart so I'm gonna have a blast racing these courses with my friends after work regardless

I didnt grow up on the gamecube so I have no nostalgia for double dash but baby park is hands down one of the best mario kart tracks. It has a sense of chaos that no other track has, especially when playing with friends. I would love to see more courses like it

The world looks cool and the fact it is truly open world is nice. Having three different campaigns is intriguing but im a little concerned about the length and quality of them, pokemon has never been known for their riveting stories. The Tera forms look cool if not gimmicky.

But dang man, the visuals look BAD. whether it's gamefreak being lazy, the switch being underpowered, or both, this game looks muddy as all heck. It likely won't take too much away from the game but I just want a mainline pokemon game that has impressive visuals.
