I've hated on Square for a long time now, but of few of theor projects lately have me interested in them again. I'd freak out if they did a FF Collection or something like that on Switch.

Maybe this would be more enticing if there were more familiar/popular indie characters included. Like Shovel Knight, Shantae, Rusty, Max (Mutant Mudds). It would probably be very diffocult to get so many IP together under one roof, but it would definitely be a game worth buying then.

@Savino Conidering this game takes place thousands of years post Ocarina, it's not unbelievable at all. Just because the world is in disarray doesn't mean technology is at a complete standstill. What's weirder to me is why no one else in the entirety of Hyrule has anything like this for themselves. lol

@Karlos88 I agree... This and the Cloud Kingdom just being boss stages was disappointing. That and the Final FINAL stages being underwhelming are the only low points in this great game.

2018 is already starting to come together... New Kirby, Yoshi, possibly Pokemon, Bayo 1,2, AND 3, literaly every classic Megaman game, AND A NEW Megaman game... Am I missing anything? My wallet isn't ready for this!

I'm incredibly excited... but I have to wake up to go to work in 6 hours... Guess I'll wait until tomorrow after work.

Also I never knew I wanted a Motorcycle in Breath of the Wild until now!

The Switch is going to be huge in Japan. The more people buying Switches, the more exposure it will get, due to it being a hybrid console on the go. People will see other playing it and that alone will sell more consoles.

I've played all of the classic and X-series games with the exception of X8. I'm excited to own all of them in HD on the Switch. Having all these classic games on a hybrid console is going to be perfect. Also I'm super excited for Megaman 11. It already looks pretty fun.

Wii U: Mario ( mainly due to there being like 4 games. One of which is Super Mario Maker. )
Switch: Zelda... BotW is just... Too good.

I'm in the US In Ohio, and I'm seeing stock fairly often. I got mine about a week ago and I'm enjoying it way more than I expected. I've somehow managed to never play FFIII (VI) and I'm loving how ridiculous that game is.

Most memorable moments are using trees as a mode of transportation as well as a weapon.

I've been waiting for VJ3 for the longest time. VJ2 was so good...

I was upset when this never made it's way to the Wii U, so I'll definitely be getting this for the Switch at some point.

I'm in Ohio and saw about 12 of them in Walmart last week. Thank god for layaway... I was able to put down $10 to have them hold it for me until today. I've alreafy picked it up and am ready to try it out tonight.

@frogopus New roommates... If only I could be so lucky... lol. I'll probably just have to get a router of my own.

@frogopus Hmm... I think you might have solved the mystery at my house here. Even my Wii U has been dropping lately. It still gets a better connection than the Switch, but one thing that has changed, is that my roommates did get a couple of baby monitors, and they are both on the same floor as the router. I'll bet those extra devices are causing a lot of issues with the internet in the house.

@frogopus I'm not sure... I'd have to check when I get home. I'm definitely going to mess with the settings tonight and I'll post here if I find anything that works since I'm sure others are having this problem too...

@RodSD64 Unfortunately the router is on the second floor and I'm on the third. I tried using an ethernet canle to connect the Switch to my signal booster, but that did nothing, lol.

As long as Myamoto and Charles Martinet are involved... I'd be interested... I wouldn't expect much, but it could be at least as entertaining as Wreck it Ralph...

My Wii U and 3DS connect online much more reliably than my Switch, so I'll probably look into this myself and maybe compare the 3 devices to see if I can find out why this is happening.

Does anyone else have any recommendations that would help my Switch connect better? Wii U is literally sitting right next to the Switch. When the Wii U has a full signal the Switch barely gets 1 bar.

The only saving grace is that I can take the Switch out and play online in other rooms. It's just strange that it won't connect in the same room every other device I own can connect in.

I just 100% completed the Cascade Kingdom last night. There were only 2 or 3 moons I was stuck on for a short while before figuring out where to go and what to do.

I use Hulu way more than Netflix so thos is awesome.

Doubtful. I think 60 - 70 million by then is more reasonable, and nothing to be upset about either.

@GC-161 I think it's hilarious that they even brought back Peach Beach for Mario Kart Wii and decided to leave the giant penis in there.

Seems like they slapped this game together as a shameless cash grab. Not surprising, but it's just disappointing that SEGA treats the Sonic IP this way.

I might get this game at some point. Even if it's just for laughs. The game looks bad, but at least it doesn't look Sonic Boom or '06 bad...

The should have just brought it to the Switch and made it run faster. If they could have cut the loading times for Miiverse in half it would have actually been usable.

@Crashlewis I don't feel the same way honestly. The 3DS is still a lot of fun for me, and is easier to take anywhere due to it's smaller size. Plus it just has tons of games. The Switch is great, but I use it more as my at home console and rarely use it as a portable. Most of it's games just aren't built for on the go gaming either. I could see my perspective changing if I ever get a second Switch for on the go though.

Just wait for Black Friday and Holiday sales... Everyone will be buying a Switch for this game.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE lmao. It's not about you. Plenty of people will buy more than one. Right now the only problem is that Nintendo is competing with itself in the portable market. Once the 3DS is phased out in a year or two, and we get a price cut and a portable only Switch the console will start to take off even moreso than it already has.

Also the Joycons are awesome. Trust me, I thought they would be garbage too. Once you have them in your hands and use them for a bit though you start to realize how well thought out the design really is.

You're entitled to your opinion of course, but honestly at this point whether you like the console or not you can't deny that the Switch is kind of a big deal for Nintendo. Year one will surpass the Wii U. Year two might even surpass the Gamecube, or at least come close. Nintendo has a good thing going here. If you enjoy their products at all you should be pretty happy, really.

Odyssey is brilliant. Tough to say if it's better than Galaxy, but both games are nearly perfect anyway.

I'd love another DKC. One more Retro made DK and we might honestly have a trilogy better than the original. Especially if they paid homage to it by bringing back the Kremlings.

Docked 90% of the time. I'd take it everywhere though if my 3DS wasn't still my primary portable.

BUT...

It is possible... considering the Switch is a hybrid console, it has one benefit the Wii never had: The Switch has a much higher chance of selling multiple units per household. I'm already considering buying another for my wife once Pokemon drops.

Only digital download for me so far has been Snipperclips. I definitely want to get Sonic Mania and Steamworld Dig 2 at some point.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE The writing is on the wall with this one... Even if they don't hit 16 million by the end of March they will easily come very close. The stock shortages are pretty much a non-issue at this point, and the holiday season with Mario Odyssey fresh in people's minds will easily sell 4-5 million units.

@Alucard83 The game has been out for less than 8 months. We still have about 4 more years before the next console Zelda.

@thesilverbrick Yeah, I saw that article too. I was worried mine wouldn't work but it turned on with no issue. So part of me believes what Reggie said here but... At the same time Nintendo had to know what this update was really doing.

I'm just really hoping this means GC games are on the way, regardless.

Unfortunatley 90% of the time the 3D effect doesn't work for me. I think I'm in that percentage of people who just can't see it. The only game I played where the 3D worked well for me was Zelda:OoT3D

In almost every other game all I see is a double image. If I mess with the slider and focus really hard I can sometimes get the 3D image, but if I drop my focus it splits into a double image again. It sucks because when I get it to work it looks great...
