The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System has arguably been the hottest item of the year, even with the launch of Nintendo's latest console, Nintendo Switch.
Stock has been hard to find since it's release but occasionally pops up, such as today at the Official Nintendo UK Store for the retail price of £79.99 complete with power adaptor.
We suggest you jump on this opportunity FAST, otherwise it will be gone. Depending on how much you're willing to pay, you can probably still get one on eBay for a ludicrous price, something that everyone here at Nintendo Life frowns upon.

Good news I got mine the first time around. I hope nintendo can restock to eliminate the scalpers. There were a lot of people just making lines to resale.
Update: Sold out! 😂👅 just kidding.
Yaaa got one
So tempted but there is always that voice in the back of my head that says "Dont buy the SNES mini, the switch Virtual Console is coming aaaaaaaaany day now......."
Personally I think they are saving it and will use the VC as an exclusive incentive when the Nintendo online service is live.
Got one. Cheers!
@oOFincHyOo I think everyone here would love to know the answer!
Amazingly, still in stock at the time of me writing this!
@oOFincHyOo Just dived in and grabbed one! Grrahh completely forgot about the virtual console!...Should i cancel? Nah
Lets face it it's not a case if? but when on the virtual console.
Still there a few hours later and I'm impressed.
Ninty knows how to manage expectations.
There's a pile of 8 in the window of cex Walsall, that'll learn em!
@cmk8 11 in the window of CEX Eastbourne. But this is the same place that sells Switch’s for £320 even though you can pick up a new one across the road for £280 😂
waiting for confirmation email but it let my buy one so refreshing email inbox regularly, up yer bum scalpers!
Glad you guys got a restock. Here's hoping fellow US gamers get their second chance soon.
Gone.
@thewoosp my confirmation email went into my spam. Might be worth checking if you're still waiting.
Booo Hiissss all gone within half an hour didn't get a look in for an owner when snes was first came out i am gutted it's why i am loving sony more at the moment. Sort out out nintendo scalpers are selling for big bucks on eBay and the real gamers get left out.
I'm in the US In Ohio, and I'm seeing stock fairly often. I got mine about a week ago and I'm enjoying it way more than I expected. I've somehow managed to never play FFIII (VI) and I'm loving how ridiculous that game is.
I got one, now working out best time to stick it on ebay
I missed out again! Never mind, it seems they're staying in stock for a bit longer before being sold out again so I'll keep trying.
@Luna-Harmony Enough of your fake news! They were available longer than half an hour.
@Curlynob thats exactly where it went! happy bunny here, now the wait till summer so I can get a NES mini! oh well back to Skyrim till this is in the door!
@G0dlike what is that all about- I can’t believe that people would actually buy a pre owned switch over 300 quid when they can be bought anywhere else for 280. I’ve seen them for 340 in cex- it’s utter madness.
@darthstuey I guess it depends on whether you've got stuff that you want to trade in. I traded in a Smartwatch for a copy of Doom and Skyrim the other day. I could of bought the games cheaper new but at least I didn't have to put my hand in my pocket for them.
I unboxed my SNES classic today after a tough month of work and family stuff - got it in the first wave and had been saving it for christmas but it seemed like a good moment - it was of course!
Had to go upstairs and work some more after a short while but the squeals of delight from my 5 year old and his little brother (and my wife) were priceless.
The 5 year old was fizzing with excitement telling me all about Star Fox a little later on - and acting out the movement of the ship - especially the barrel rolls of course! Nintendo rocks!
