And contrary to what @Olliemar28 you can absolutely use the front panel without the backplate. I have this case and just use it for the grips and the front panel. I wouldn't expect it to protect your Switch 2 from hard falls, but it will protect from scratches if you're just tossing it into a bag. The grips are awesome and help my hands a ton. I get bad pains in my hands when trying to play handheld without some sort of grips. For the cheap price and simple use, I'd give JSAUX a 7 or 8 out of 10.
I would like to believe that Galaxy on Mario All-stars 3D would get the same update as this new version, but I doubt it... At least I can grab Galaxy 2 on Switch 2 finally. After Aces let me down, I'll wait on Mario Tennis Fever. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book looks interesting, but again, I'll wait to see more before making a decision.
I'm so excited for this controller! I think it's only lacking a minus button, gyro, and rumble, so hopefully it'll work with most other games outside of the GameCube NSO. It would be even better if I could map the C button to be minus for more functionality.
I'm still waiting for Ex-Zodiac... I can't form any real opinion on this yet from the lack of gameplay, but I like the screenshots at the bottom. The announcement trailer was unfortunately rather off-putting...
@RainbowGazelle a direct quote from Gail Tilden in the article: "So, in January of 1998, I was asked if I would lead the team to bring Pokémon out of Japan to the rest of the world, other than China and Korea." So, yes, the whole of "The West"
It's almost impressive when a studio releases a game in such a poor state that they have to spend as long fixing it as it took to make it. Impressively bad.
@RR529 @Unit_DTH I did some searching around and found what I believe to be the actual product from the images provided in Eurogamer article. It's full metal and actually looks really cool.
The defendants in both lawsuits blatantly admitted to doing something illegal. These lawsuits will be over faster than a Super Mario World 0 Exit speedrun.
@Kiwi_Unlimited I'm the same way. The first thing I have to do on any game I play is disable motion controls. I wish they weren't almost always on by default.
"This company is now designed to develop and manage the coming Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket and is owned 66.6% by DeNA and 33.4% by The Pokémon Company." -Serebii.net
It's been a toy company with an extremely heavy focus on video games 😝 I would say The Pokémon Company is more of an entertainment company. Hopefully Nintendo can get some awesome animated series with some of their IP! And I'm confident the games will keep their gold standard quality (unlike Pokémon...)
I think it looks pretty cool. At first it was a bit jarring, but the more I look at it, the more I can appreciate the melding of classic and modern Amy's design.
@Grumblevolcano I didn't even notice this was just for physical games. I haven't bought physically in a while, but I did preorder the deluxe version of Rain Code!
Looking forward to Pikmin 4! And I recommend Super Bullet Break to anyone who enjoys Rogue-likes (it's cheaper digital to of you don't mind that)!
Hopefully it's better than Pikmin 3. I really enjoyed 1 and 2, but 3 felt really short. Just when I thought the game was picking up and going somewhere, it ended, and I was left feeling disappointed
10/16 I'd argue soup could be considered a drink the way Link slurps it down. And even though I got the timeline question right, the timeline doesn't matter at all.
@Mach_Rider Enjoy the original experience in “Pure” mode with all of the original Japanese voices for story mode, or choose “Refined” for English voice acting focused on the action, tailored for fans of the genre.
@Fizza I absolutely loved Hotel Dusk: Room 215. It was so good, I had to have the sequel imported from Europe when I learned it never got a US release. The DS had some amazing detective games
The controls feel really awkward to me with Metroid Dread, especially aiming. If this game has a control scheme that's better than "hold down a button to stop moving and aim", I'm way more interested
@Not_Soos I would've gone rock because I like blue better than red or yellow and I agree about Shiver, but my group is going paper as we decided via rng.
We'll be streaming our participation in the Splatfest too! https://twitch.tv/YoshiBrothers17
@BionicDodo yeah, if I didn't have friends who also played, I wouldn't be into the series. Unfortunately, even local play isn't worth much with this series unless you have a bunch of friends with their Switch in person. This is just one of those games that shines in online play and doesn't really do much else.
@BionicDodo in my experience, no. If you don't have anyone to play with online and don't enjoy playing online in general, the Splatoon series is not a good fit at all. The single player in the previous entries is very shallow and what is there is short lived
I've been having a lot of fun with this game! I agree that it's a solid 8. I recommend it to anyone that's a fan of 2D platformer action games or rogue-likes in general. I really hope to see Cygames and Nintendo bring over an entry in the Dragalia Lost IP to Switch (or a complete port of the original without micro transactions).
It took forever, required three open browser tabs on my PC and one on my phone, and even got several "out of stock" notices during check out, but I was able to snag one to complement the special editions of the other two games in the series. It was a horrible experience though...
"Another issue we found with Souldiers is that the difficulty balancing borders on ridiculous. Borrowing from Soulslike game design, this is the kind of game where even common enemies can body you in a few hits if you aren’t careful."
This game strongly reminds me of Destruction Derby 64 on the N64. I played it a ton growing up, so I'm really interested in this. I hope you can turn off the "laps" mechanic and just play till last car standing.

Re: Review: JSAUX Split Protective Case For Switch 2 -Sleek But Off-Putting Modular Design
@Olliemar28 I guess we have two different experiences, because I use only the grips and the front panel and haven't had any trouble.
Re: Review: JSAUX Split Protective Case For Switch 2 -Sleek But Off-Putting Modular Design
@Polvasti you can buy the grips and the backplate separate from the front cover and save some money.

Maybe we're reading into this backwards. What if it's a sign that the Microsoft Edge Browser is coming to Switch 2? Gee, that would be so exciting...

How on Earth is Ghost Trick not in this list‽
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Roguelikes, Roguelites And Run-Based Games
I know some people may not like the anime girl aesthetic, but
Super Bullet Break
is an awesome deck builder! I've had way more fun with it than either Slay the Spire or Dicey Dungeons.
