It's looking to be a busy Summer on Switch.

TOTK Will keep me busy for a while and even after that I have a backlog bigger than ever before.
So personally I don't care about this yet, but Nintendo's upcoming lineup is weaker than ever. After years of rumors this is the first time that I do think it is finally time for the next console announcement, hope it is still an hybrid.

Master Detective Archives Code Rain looks really good and should have been included in the highlighted games. Preordered the collectors edition right after it was announced. I hope this game doesn’t get overlooked.

I will get Pikmin 4 later. I never beat 3 despite owning it on Wii U. I’m going to just get 3 Deluxe on Switch eventually.

Now that TotK is out, Nintendo needs a new direct to let us know what's up for the rest of the year.

I've got my eyes on Pikmin 4 and Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life!

Might also check out Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island, although I'll likely want to see some gameplay videos before deciding one way or the other.

@Grumblevolcano I didn't even notice this was just for physical games. I haven't bought physically in a while, but I did preorder the deluxe version of Rain Code!

Looking forward to Pikmin 4! And I recommend Super Bullet Break to anyone who enjoys Rogue-likes (it's cheaper digital to of you don't mind that)!

Looks like I'm just getting Master Detective Archives: Rain Code at the end of June.

SoS is my last purchase before Black Friday but I see I have a lot more games to add to the pile.way too much to play.

Because the other 3rd party multi console games I saw from the list above have PS4 or PS5 version so I will pick them on PS4 or PS5 version instead.

Pikmin 4 is a definite purchase. Disney Illusion Island is a maybe, it looks really fun but I’ll probably wait to see more gameplay and how it reviews. Sonic Origins Plus I’ll probably pick up physically but I’m deciding which platform I want it on lol.

So I have until July 21st to finish Zelda. Nice.

At the moment trying to decide if I want to get Rain Code and / or A Wonderful Life. Don't really have a lot of confidence in the former while the latter's a definite purchase at SOME point but not necessarily at launch.

Pikmin's kind of an, "Ehhhh, maybe?" I have a stray voucher sitting and I do want it at some point but I dunno if I want it at launch (not really in a hurry for it, only successfully just got into the series with 3 last year so kind of need to back up and try 1 again while 2's completely foreign to me) so probably just depend on if Nintendo announces anything else I want more before then.

Pikmin 4 and Disgaea 7 I'm aiming for on Switch. Everything else looks cool but my main 2 are these for the year on Switch besides some third parties on PS/Xbox. Many cool ones listed though many never heard of, some obvious Indies, some alright niche Japanese games in there.

I find a wheel kind of hard to care for on Switch though, there is racing games to enjoy on it no doubt and I'm very particular on what I want to play of racing on Switch (don't care for kart racers, I have a few arcade or sims in mind for Switch and the rest on PS4/Xbox One) but do many even support wheels properly whether force feedback or different profiles for different wheels is it just the ones that allow for button remapping of what a controller already does that get offered for Switch and not the more involved wheels on other platforms besides just the handful of games it would be suitable to use it for?

Sure I've seen the Hori wheel used with Mario Kart because of the branding and most Nintendo content youtubers that show off stuff don't really play the games the wheels would be suitable with demoing of arcade/sim ones on Nintendo platforms anyway..... Metacritic lists a few types of racing games of the odd bike/car arcade maybe some sims but not many of course go to Switch and sure Wreckest I'm considering on Switch even if cheaper on other platforms by now, Gear Club 1&2 among some others are there like MotoGP/WRC definitely appear on Switch and would suit. But like the left/right turning use I assume would be fine and pedals to different button inputs but I mean there is very few I'd consider using for one even if wheels are great.

I'm not interested in Tears of the Kingdom I've got retro games to play instead or plenty of 2022 and older to experience that I haven't yet.

Sonic Origins and Pikmin 4 for me. The rest doesn't bother me.

Pikmin 4, ugh...so close yet so far...I need another new trailer or more info or something. lol

I’m so excited for Pikmin 4. Probably my most anticipated game this year. Love the series and waited a long time for this game. Glad it’s almost here.

Would be really cool if Nintendo would also drop Pikmin 1 and 2 on the switch, they've already both had Wii rereleases would not take much work to polish those up and have them fit right in to the switch. Just really wanna replay olimars first adventure without having to set up my gc or Wii
