Re: QubicGames Celebrates 18th Anniversary With A Big Switch Sale And Giveaway

@Mattock1987 Akuto: Showdown is a lot of fun, unfortunately it's a multiplayer game that lacks online. So unless you have some friends to play with in person, it's not worth your time. The game would benefit immensely from online play, but the developers have stated they have no plans to support online.

Mana Spark is okay if you enjoy rogue-likes. Not great or anything, but worth $2.

Dungeon Top looks interesting to me, but the few Switch reviews I can find on it appear to be a bit mixed.

@Clod I'll agree that Soul Silver and Heart Gold are amazing games. I never actually played Fire Red or Leaf Green, but I did not like Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Compared to those, I would preferred playing the originals again with the updated battle mechanics (mainly the special split). I haven't really enjoyed a Pokémon game since X and Y (and those were still a little lackluster). That's 8 years. If Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are a full on by the books remake with graphical updates, I'll be happy, but I think there will still be quality of life updates and that makes me even happier! I can for sure say the thing that makes me most excited and hopeful is that GameFreak themselves aren't making this one. I just want a good mainline Pokémon game again

I've been fun having with this game! I'm really surprised it's scored so low here. The monsters I've been summoning have decent AI and do a great job of killing everything in the room for me. I've been a huge fan of the ranged weapons in the game such as the magic tomes and bows and prefer them over the melee attacks. This review also doesn't even seem to mention the co-op or IR codes...

The only thing missing from this game is an online feature. It's still a lot of fun on it's own, and a great game with friends in person, but online play would make this amazing.
