Re: Nintendo Sets Its Sights On Switch Emulator Yuzu In New Lawsuit

DanijoEX

I'm staying neutral on this. I got no knowledge of laws, copyrights, or anything. And i'm certainly not gonna act like I do know everything cuz I don't swing that way.

But I do respect companies in their right to defend of what they own. I mean we'd do the same too. But either way, I'm shuttin' my yap now.

Re: Random: Some Rare Fans Are Upset About The Latest Switch Online Announcement

DanijoEX

If people REALLY want Rare Replay on Switch...how about this: If ya'll (mind you, referring to those constantly asking) want it on Switch, show Nintendo & Microsoft that there is interest for it.

Companies ain't gonna do all that effort if there isn't any interest for it, especially since it requires some time & resources. Plus, I'm sure there are valid reasons for it not happening...maybe.

Re: Godzilla To Unleash Total Destruction In New Minecraft DLC

DanijoEX

I love how some the Minecraft Godzilla models are based on the different suits/designs based on the films that they appeared.

Especially the one image in the article that is based on the film, "The Return of Godzilla" a.k.a Godzilla 1984. Or Godzilla 1985 if you're familiar with that U.S. version. I got the movie itself on DVD & it's kinda hard to find now...

Re: Round Table: Let's Talk About Palworld - Comparisons, Controversy, 'Copying'

DanijoEX

Yeesh...it's really getting difficult to know the difference between plagiarism, inspiration, & parody in this era...orz. Pray tell that somebody can know the difference...

For me, I would never even call Gamera a Godzilla rip-off. More of inspiration. Yes, another reptile-based kaiju isn't original but a gargantua fire-breathing turtle? One that can fly, eat fire, & consume nuclear energy? That's still creative. At least Daiei was able to make something unique with a few creative ideas to help differentiate Gamera from Godzilla.

Just is just an example though.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Ports We'd Love To See In 2024

DanijoEX

Honestly, I'd love to see Phantasy Star Nova get a HD port on Switch...

Same for Lumines Electronic Symphony. And maybe Wario Land Shake It. We are due for another Wario Land entry. Getting kinda...tired of WarioWare honestly...

In fact, some of the Wii games could use a bit of new life on Switch. Too many to count but Rthym Heaven, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (& Path of Radiance) come to mind.

And can Nippon Ichi release Disgaea 2 already...

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Sonic Superstars

DanijoEX

@Mauzuri Well, you ain't the only one. After that botch-up with Sonic Origins Plus, I was pretty much done with Sonic. I don't mind sticking with Sonic Mania.

I was hesitant on buying this but thankfully I went with Mario Wonder. SuperStars is such a mess that isn't worth the 60$ price tag this game is asking for.

Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way

DanijoEX

Very "smart" of you, Valve, to not acknowledge the OG Vita as the 1st to have the OLED screen before the Switch & Steam Deck did.

But...each to their own, I suppose. I, however, will still acknowledge the Vita still. As it was a very good handheld in my opinion. Sony really squandered it's potential because of their incompetent choices.

Shame that some people make the Vita as joke still. Yeesh...

Re: Talking Point: What's The Most Difficult Mainline Mario Game?

DanijoEX

For 2D Mario, it's SMB: The Lost Levels. For 3D Mario, Super Mario Sunshine, due to it's...well...certain designs in aspects of certain levels.

EDIT: Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels was by far the most difficult 2d Mario game I've played. I couldn't even get past World 2 or 3 (mainly my bad memory). It makes SMB 1, 2, 3, & World looks rather tame by comparison in terms of difficulty.
