I was such a gigantic Carmen Sandiego fan back in the day. But I can't get behind these recent reboots where Carmen is the hero. It makes no sense to me. The fun of the story was that she was this incredibly brilliant criminal, the best in the world, and it was your challenge to take her down. A lot of modern remakes turn the villains into heroes and vice versa — I know writers are out of ideas but, I can't get into it.

I know I am in the minority on this, but I actually do not like the vibe from RE7 or 8 at all. I adore the franchise, but those 2 games are way too torture pr0n-y and emotionally twisted. I know it's a fine line, but to me, RE always had slick, anime-ish characters who were stuck in a terrible nightmare. RE7 and 8 brought the heroes down to the level of that nightmare and made the world around them even darker.

Just my 2 cents.
