This show is an example where amazing animation, voice acting and production value cannot overcome bad storytelling and a lack of faithfulness to the source material.

The first CV anime started out strong and didn't quite stick the landing. This one just started poorly.

I was such a gigantic Carmen Sandiego fan back in the day. But I can't get behind these recent reboots where Carmen is the hero. It makes no sense to me. The fun of the story was that she was this incredibly brilliant criminal, the best in the world, and it was your challenge to take her down. A lot of modern remakes turn the villains into heroes and vice versa — I know writers are out of ideas but, I can't get into it.

Just put the finishing touches on the game like 2 days ago LOL. I'm ready to buy this book!

I'm with her on this one. We can use AI for lots of things, but taking away the fun/awesome/artistic jobs? No. Shut that ish down right away.

I still think this game looks amazing!!!!! I'm gonna pick it up and form my own opinion on this one.

I'm interested!! I don't love the idea of characters that we're supposed to care about but never see the faces of. But, we'll see!

I can't stand multiverse stuff. Having 2 Sonics in these Generations games makes them instant passes for me. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this, but, yea....

I never pulled the trigger on the original. I'll be keeping an eye on this if it gets a physical release.

Trim the fat on the staff side and the game scope side. Make smaller, less technically demanding, more potent gaming experiences. That's my advance for the entire industry to stay afloat.

The overall timeline connecting ALL the games is utter silliness. However, certain games with explicit connections and how they fit together is important to me.

The game better be connected to Link's Awakening or else I'm gonna be even more miffed that they are reusing that (ugly, imo) art style.

I wish the game looked like that instead! I actually never liked the Link's Awakening remake style.

I know I am in the minority on this, but I actually do not like the vibe from RE7 or 8 at all. I adore the franchise, but those 2 games are way too torture pr0n-y and emotionally twisted. I know it's a fine line, but to me, RE always had slick, anime-ish characters who were stuck in a terrible nightmare. RE7 and 8 brought the heroes down to the level of that nightmare and made the world around them even darker.

Just my 2 cents.

From the trailer, I don't know why these characters are fighting, I don't know what they're fighting for, I don't know how they got their powers or if that's a usual thing in this universe...... but I know their pronouns and how they would vote.

This is peak video game storytelling!!!

2. The world is not nearly as bigoted as some people make it out to be — especially when it just so happens to benefit them to say so.

Keighley spent 2 generations completely bagging on Nintendo. They shouldn't give that hack the time of day.

This version of the character will never be the real Lara Croft to me.
