@nessisonett because Twitter considers master a racist term now.
That being said, this is definitely my favorite Zelda. By far the best story. Incredible gear. A fun upgrade system for your gear. Incredibly interesting bad guy. Great story arcs for a couple side characters.
My only complaints are that the one large bad guy can be annoying and repetitive to fight. Though that's a pretty small part of the game and it ties into the story pretty well. And sometimes getting items you need for upgrading gear can be a little annoying.
@Mynameishello I'm sorry that you have a bad memory or are ignorant of what I shared but you shouldn't call people liars based on either of those. Or maybe you should do some research to disconfirm people before trying to discredit them. Westwood studios would have free DLC on their website. Broodwar was half the price of base StarCraft. I imagine if you were a developer you've heard of Westwood and StarCraft so that should be enough as I didn't state every game ever on pc back in the day had free DLC and lower priced expansions. But needless to say at this point there were plenty of developers that put out free DLC and lower priced expansions. It's nice to see that there's a Nintendo game that has that planned this day in age and isn't charging $5-10 per new map.
I loved Mario Golf 64, it's sad to see we're not ever really getting games better than that. I'd much rather have more and more interesting courses than New modes that aren't that exciting to me.
Oh if only a Metroid Wii U came out. I'm sure it would have been amazing. Oh well another missed opportunity like a 2D Metroid 64. But on a happier note, 10 years later they finally announced a release date for Metroid Dread !
I'll definitely get the demo. I love these pre release demos because they are similar to early access, only free. Also, this week I pulled out my DS to start paying through twewt again! To think such a great game came from the people behind Picross.
I mean I'm pretty sure sorry Metroid was $70 with inflation I'm sure that was more like $125. But if it was 60 that's still over $100 today.... That being said these days if you pay $60 you usually want to be buying a game that will last longer than 20 hours to 100%. I was a little bothered that Samus Returns was so short and it was only $45.
I don't know. A battle royale that costs money in a sea of decent free battle royales.
I would be much more likely to consider this if it was any other type of Worms game. Worms rpg, Worms golf, Worms party game? Just a few ideas for the Worms team.
Glad to see the days of free updates are back. I remember when PC games had free DLC all the time and "expansions" weren't the price of full games. Now an extra character on smash and their level is 1/6 the price of the game. So it's definitely nice to see that a character and level in this game will be free in comparison.
I just wish there were more games from the Wii U that could be ported to the Switch. It's amazing that people still say there were no good games out on the Wii U.
I don't think the controller is really made for motion controls, it's too small. At least with the Wii remote you could somewhat hold it with two hands.
People would tell me how awesome they were at Mario Kart 64 or GoldenEye even up through college, about 10 years after release. I usually wouldn't have too much difficulty beating them. When I played with my friends and neighbors before that I'd literally play 1v3 and play with my controller behind my back to make it somewhat competitive. I'd still win 75% off the time though.
Excite Bots is a sure announcement this year with the Switch Pro that is branded as the Switch Up, giving a nod to the Wii U that the Switch was derived from, being announced soon after E3.
I enjoyed the movie. But I also enjoy many of the cult sci-fi films of the day like Total Recall and Demolition Man. Both had a similar feel to Mario. I also like 5th Element which I believe came later. Mario is definitely the worst of these films but that doesn't mean there's but entertainment to be had.
You could replace the fan yourself to fix the whining. It's something I did this year and it wasn't too difficult. Also Nintendolife has a great video on fixing joycon drift yourself. If you haven't I'd recommend you subscribe to their channel!
@RudeAnimat0r I liked the claymation looking style, but yeah the music was just fine. Not nearly as good as the 1st. The 3D didn't work well because you could only see a part of the map, though, with the update you could at least see entire map all at once. Still not as good as seeing all the map the whole time. I definitely have plenty of complaints, but I still think it was a good game. Though definitely not great like the original.
@RudeAnimat0r Monsters 2 was disappointing at first. But they had a major update that fixed a lot of issues I had changing it from an ok to a good game in my opinion. That being said, it was missing many things from the first and though I loved the art style, the loading times were atrocious on the Switch.
I loved monsters, actually playing it again on Wii U right now. Definitely my favorite tower defense. Monsters 2 was good but had some glitches and didn't quite grab the feeling of both relaxation and challenge the first had. I also really liked shooter. I hope the company can get back on track with some fun original games.
@BulbasaurusRex a little linear gameplay is fine. But when you feel like you're watching a boring movie instead of playing a game I don't see the point anymore. FF XIII had no exploration before one of the final acts. But yeah FF XII was a lot less linear, but not as good of a game as X, so I would definitely say it doesn't make or break a game. It just can hurt a game when it's too linear. Personally 6-9 all did an amazing job at drawing the line between linear and non-linear gameplay.

Bogey!
