How much overlap is there with the Art Book that came with the TOTK Collector's Edition? Like, is everything that's in the CE art book in this new book?
@Uncle_Franklin I'm sure there's some things they haven't revealed yet. Maybe, hopefully, there will be some kind of final Sheikah form, because that would be cool.
@SillyG Well, that "remote possibility" has actually happened to me.
What's interesting is that after all my physical collections were destroyed, my DIGITAL stuff was still fine, as I have everything, including my saved games, backed up in the cloud.
So, in my experience, digital is superior. And THAT is a "certainty."
Even though I'm a Nintendo fan, I'm ALSO a fan of PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and even VR stuff, so I'm still capable of enjoying these shows. I'm a gamer. I like seeing what games are coming out in the future.
@yohn777 This is a digital product that is infinitely reproducible. Let's say they price it at $9.99 and sell 5 copies. Now imagine they price it at $1.99 and sell 100 copies. In which scenario will they make more money?
@Spider-Kev Is it really a spoiler if it's in actual videos and marketing materials put out by Nintendo themselves? They clearly want people to know about this stuff to get them excited to buy the game. This isn't stuff that's supposed to be secret surprises or anything.
Japan. It has the best design and composition and the best use of color. It's actually quite brilliant. The artist was clearly very well trained, which is extremely rare on old video game box art.
@Dr_Lugae Yeah, but that's not really the same, as the 3DS and the Switch are very different consoles. If the "Switch 2" really is backwards compatible, it may halt sales of the original (unless they have a huge price cut).
"... he immediately began working full-time at HAL. (The name, incidentally, was chosen because “each letter put us one step ahead of IBM,” explained Iwata in 2012.)"
@Macnemo79 I agree. Baldur's Gate was the most overrated game I've played in a long time. I agree with RygelVIII too, in that it seems clear it was a lot of people's first CRPG. I think anyone like me, that grew up in the 90s and played tons of CRPGs from the Ultimas to the early Fallouts to Planescape: Torment and Arcanum, wasn't as easily impressed.
I'll get flak for this, but for my money Starfield was a much better game than BG3 as well.
TOTK and Starfield were the best games of 2023, not Baldur's Gate 3.
@littlegreenbob That's not true at all. Street Fighter 2 had like 4 versions that all came out for the SNES in the span of 2-3 years. They were all basically the same except for a few characters (and one was a faster speed). And they were all $69.99
@Captain-N Wow, I'm out of the loop with sugary cereals, because I didn't even know there was a newer Mario cereal! Apparently, the box is an amiibo too, which is hilarious.
The old Nintendo Cereal was fun because it came with two bags, one for Mario flavored cereal and one for Zelda flavored. The Zelda one was much better, imo.
I could see it being a fun party game for people of a certain age, like me, that grew up in the NES era, but I seriously doubt young people are going to be all that interested.

@axelhander Oh, I could. I just have zero interest in arguing with pigeons on the Nintendo Life website. Thanks. Good day, sir.

@axelhander Everything you just said is wrong.

@Maxz Okay, I see that. Makes sense.
Re: 'Shashingo: Learn Japanese With Photography' Snaps Up September Release Date On Switch
@Maxz I know those are Hydrangeas. I was questioning the use of the word "Sakura" underneath.
Re: 'Shashingo: Learn Japanese With Photography' Snaps Up September Release Date On Switch
Doesn't Sakura specifically mean "cherry blossom?" That's kind of confusing, them translating it to "flower" instead.

Physical =/= Permanence
