The best demo I've played was for Xenogears back in the day. It's just the first area, but a few minutes in it literally comes up and be like "hey here's some characters you'll meet in the full game eventually, just have some with em now lol"

Love HK to death, but imo those darkest areas could've been 10% brighter so I didn't have to strain my eyes, without sacrificing any of the atmosphere.

GOTY 2022 is the gift that keeps on giving. I like that they called this a "Spring update," perhaps hinting that there is still more to come, well over a year past its release. I'm excited to run through this game a fourth time.

I bought this Day 1 on the Cube and remember having a great time with it. Then I tried replaying it a couple years ago during quarantine and finding it stilted and very rough. Couldn't get more than a few hours in. Has not aged well, unfortunately. Vesperia, Breseria, and Arise all managed to elevate the Tales series beyond the point of me being able to coast through older ones on nostalgia alone. (except for Tales of Phantasia)

Weird timing, I have a pair of these on the way that I'll test with my original left JoyCon that became useless a year ago.

Toss up between the vertical platforming in the last level of Cyber Shadow and fighting Radiance in Hollow Knight. But the satisfaction that came with beating each was sweeter than candy.

@Boyward it's not super common. But every time it happened it was definitely jarring and felt out of place. Otherwise, it's a great game. I have a few other relatively minor issues with it, but when the credits rolled after 26 hours, I was very satisfied overall.

Having a grand ol' time with Chained Echoes. It's got all the things a growing 38 year old big boy baby boy needs.

Woof, no mini-map (or any map?) kinda kills it for me. I know literally nothing about RWBY aside from what I just read in this review (not sure I've even heard of it beforehand), but I'm usually willing to give these types of games a go. But I gots to have me some sorta map.
