Id prefer him work on Metroid. Not like he isnt talented enough for Zelda, he is. Just that his style works A LOT better for Metroid imo.

@sixrings If Link was a stick man people wouldnt like it. Graphics are important as much as Nintendo fans seem to think it isnt. Sound design is also really important. Every part of a game that makes it complete is important imo.

Cuphead, Ori, Wonder Boy, and Luigi's Mansion 3 are my favorites on this list visually.

What I love about these articles is usually the comments. You get the fanboys defending and trying to cancel out negative opinions but its okay if it favors their views and what they like. Then you get the people that takes everything so personal like their dog died or something because someone doesnt agree with them. Pokemon = Sonic community, I swear.

Switch game day one patches never really bugged me. I have a sd card and know how to make the most of my little storage. They are never Ps4/Xbone games big anyway.

Guess this is unpopular opinion hour but I thought M&L Dream Team, Paper Jam, Superstar Remake, and Inside Story remake were great. People seem to not like those.

Doesnt look like my cup of tea but this has to have one of the greatest visual styles ive ever seen in first person shooters (not like there is a big competition imo).

@AlexSora89 You think Sunshine is worse than 64? Nice hot take thats definitely not biased. Also Galaxy 1&2, 3D Land, and 3D World arent Sandbox mario games, they are level based. Mario 64, Sunshine, and Odyssey are sandbox mario games.

@Heavyarms55 Pretty unnecessary but alright bud. Just because you like rpgs and want it doesnt mean it "NEEDS" to happen. Spinoffs dont "NEED" to happen, they mostly happen because developers randomly felt like experimenting with big ideas without creating community divide. Also Zelda gets nothing special from being a turn based RPG, especially when the series is already inspired by RPGs. What, the rpg is gonna have open world and heavy puzzle elements? Yeah, fresh and innovative spinoff, try a wackier genre. There is a reason Mario has way more to work with spinoffs, he is clay.

I dont see anything wrong with having Shovel Knight make cameos. Thats smart business decision, also Shovel Knight is cool so im okay with it.

Cant believe im the only guy here wanting Helix, he seems like the most unique (next to Disango) and would be extremely hype to dodge people attacks in smash. Ribbon girls ability is having more jumps and Min Mins ability is deflector kick...

@jtmnm Arms sold really well and was reviewed well too. It just didnt get into the competitive scene because its not as exciting to watch as it is to play.

@OorWullie I wasnt a fan of Ranked myself because if you were good you get nerfed by getting little health next match and I disliked doing 2v1's or Free for Alls.

Glad there are people like you that enjoyed the game. Despite how well it did in reviews and sales it seems so many people consider this game a failure and bash it (a lot that dont even own the game tbh)...

Probably alone on this but I kinda hope for a new Mighty No. 9 game made by them. I liked Mighty Gunvolt Burst a lot.

Wonder if Nintendo took down fan animations, fan art, and fan music covers that people would defend nintendo. Lots of people make money off of them too, its like a career to do paid commissions based on others IP.

@Kalmaro Theres a good amount of people that still play that are from the DMFD Discord that I go to find games and get tips. The playerbase is too small to be finding anymore than japanese players ingame every now and then since everyone is at endgame and not earlygame. I mostly play it online but from the little I played of it solo at launch to now I have spent a lot less grinding, maxing up on potions just to not easily die by poison, and doing little to no damage to enemies my level because class imbalance. I consider that a improvement as I am now completing quests my lvl smoothly without the need of others and enjoying myself but I still wont recommend it to everyone if youre playing it just for solo as that mode is better in short bursts and minor tasks. On co-op, idk... I was never a big fan of couch co-op in games because of screen crunch and how distracted I get so that missing feature never bugged me (and I honestly forgot it was missing until you reminded me..) but its a shame they never considered it for the people that wanted it at launch.

Inti has been working at making this game better and improving it with updates throughout its release despite its poor reception at launch (Which is fair. I may have enjoyed myself but ill agree it wasnt as good as I hoped). This so far is the biggest update for the game and maybe even the last one aside from balance patches.

@PickledKong64 I dont know but for me my favorite would be Order of Ecclesia if I had to take SotN out. Found it challenging, loved the music, loved the story, and the gameplay and level design is my cup of tea.

My right joycon drifted two weeks ago, thats the 2nd one. Good, well deserved.

@RazumikhinPG I did more research on it and he seems to be a major pioneer and father of manga (like you said) who had the first popular japanese animated series on Japanese television (premiered on Fuji TV) in 1963 called Mighty Atom aka. Astro Boy. But, a more earlier pioneer is Oten Shimokawa, who created the first professional anime film in 1917 called "Imokawa Mukuzo Genkanban no Maki". Shimokawa being apart of the first generation of animators alongside Jun'ichi Kouchi and Seitaro Kitayama. So I guess they are the fathers of anime.

It will get a remake that the nostalgic crowd would love to have happen and then more than half of that crowd would hate it when it releases because it isn't like the original and "lacks the charm". Good or not. Every. Single. Dang. Remake.

That artwork is amazing.

Every time I look at the characters I get a giggle. They look like babi future soldiers. Game looks cool though, it peaks my interest at least.

I like none of the classic Castlevania games except Rondo because of music, visuals, different pathways and connection with SotN.

I like all the Igavanias including Bloodstained except Harmony of Dissonance. Top 3 for me would be (Not doing nintendo only, thats dumb as heck):
