Tomorrow sees the grand return of 'MAR10 Day' (because it's March 10th - get it?) and Nintendo is celebrating by slashing the prices of some of its biggest Switch games.
Available from now until 14th March at 11:59pm PT, you can grab the following discounted games from the Switch eShop. Seeing Mario games with a third of the price taken off isn't exactly a common occurrence, so make sure to jump on these deals if you fancy any of the games:
- Super Mario Maker 2 - $39.99, was $59.99
- Super Mario Party - $39.99, was $59.99
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - $39.99, was $59.99
- Yoshi's Crafted World - $39.99, was $59.99
You can also save $20 on these games from a number of retail stores, so make sure to check these out if you'd prefer a physical copy (note that some discounts apply to digital download codes only):
Amazon: Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Yoshi’s Crafted World
Game Stop: Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Yoshi’s Crafted World
Target: Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Yoshi’s Crafted World
Walmart.com: Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Yoshi’s Crafted World
Best Buy: Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Yoshi’s Crafted World
Remember, you can also get a 20% discount on select merch as part of the MAR10 Day celebrations, too. Not a bad selection of offerings, really!

Oh nice, didnt realize that best buy had price matched these down to 40...I have some credit so I can get MM2 for like 15.... will stop by after work.
MAR10, where Nintendo and fans get together to celebrate less-celebrated and much-less-well-selling Mario titles.
@Savino Yeah I was expecting to see some games here that they didn't list.
SMM2 for $40 is nice at least.
I'm very surprised that Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe aren't included.
People are never happy it seems...
Of course they dont put their best sellers on here. Not like I dont have them already.
Dang. If this sale could end on the 17th, I'd be able to use a $20 Amazon gift card I'll be getting on that day to save $40 on Super Mario Party, making it the ideal price I'd buy that game for.
So will Mario Run ever go in sale (again)? I had it on my Android phone but now have an Apple phone. I would like to give it another shot, but I don’t want to pay full price (again).
And here I thought I'd cave and get SM Odyssey and Mario Kart...
This is amazing prices, awesome news for those who haven't gotten them yet.
Might finally be time to grab MM2 and Yoshi’s Crafted World
@Supadav03 Agreed. I was thinking the exact same thing.
Terrible sale, but I didn't really expect anything more from them.
So STOKED to grab SMM2 for 30$CAD off. I’ve never been one for game maker titles, but I’ve always been curious about the SMM series.
Arguably...Yoshi’s Crafted World isn’t a Mario game, haha.
Looks like Mario U and DKC:TF is still meant to be enjoyed on my Wii U... oh well. I’m still loving Super Mario Maker 2. Get it, if you don’t have it.
$30 on Yoshis World is my final offer.
You lucky people. I don’t know about the prices as we have them cheaper in uk but good games if you’ve just bought a switch
Edit. Other than Mario sonic I think I got all these on launch for similar prices without a MAR10 sale
I finally bit the bullet and got both MM2 and Yoshi.
Crafted World is on sale but not NSMBU? Come on Nintendo.
Will that include Wii U eShop games too? Got the Yoshi game on my Wish List.
Once again, Nintendo shows how much their discounts suck.
Why isn’t New Super Mario Brothers U Deluxe (I still can’t believe that’s the name) on sale? Seems like a perfect candidate.
I'd love to get Yoshi, buuuut Animal Crossing is in 11 days and I need $40 still. Shame, maybe another time.
@commentlife Even if you don’t create a lot of levels, you should get plenty of fun playing the Story Mode levels plus all the other user submitted levels. SMM and SMM2 are awesome!
I already bought these, so I'm good. Mario & Sonic definitely would've been my first buy out of that sale, though.
@guamyankee $10 is the highest I'll go for Crafted World. Any higher is a ripoff for me, even though I already bought it.
@Tyranexx yeah, those omissions kind of take the legs out of it, holding back for their own special day, not like mariokart hasn't been on sale before either
@VR32X - I just nabbed MM2 at Target this morning and I don't mind saying I'm fairly excited!
is $40 a good price for Super Mario Party?
@SMEXIZELDAMAN
I think $40 is a fair price for Mario Party. The series may not be as good as the early days, but it’s much improved over Mario Party 10. Still a good time with friends.
Living la vida loca.
@ancientlii Yeah. I'd assume it's because those two sell well enough without discounts. The reason I even have a digital version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (I prefer physical in most cases) is because it was available for $40 at one point.
I'm pretty sure most of us already have these games
How about some Super Mario Party DLC? Free OR paid? I like the game but it seriously needs more boards and more characters!
And what happened to support for Mario Maker 2? Why did they stop updating it? I think almost everyone thought more was coming, but it never did. Again, free or paid, I'd like to get back into it with more stuff.
Of course they only discount the games I already have. I would have loved to have gotten a discount on NSMBUD, as I really don’t want to pay 60 bucks for it
@Tyranexx ditto
MM2 would be the only one I would get.
Be grateful for what you have, despite a big MAR10 day banner on the UK store there are zero discounts!
@Savino this is suppose to be a celebration of the biggest mascot in gaming. I think scrooge in his prime would have better discounts! What a greedy world we live in! 🌍😎
No Mario tennis
@SMEXIZELDAMAN Not really, barely count this as a discount
@Morshufan1 Your icon makes me wish for a new Paper Mario game. Sigh...
