I found myself dying only to spikes and pits. As a "souls like" its definitely on the easier side.

@Matl I gotta say, while Smash 4 has similar issues with leaving low tiers at the same spot (Kirby Palutena, Ganondorf, etc), I felt Smash4 had a lot more drastic balance changes that were more often than just when a character releases. Higher tiered characters got nerfed, mid tier and small few of low tiers got buffed. Bowser went from a whatever character to an actual good one and Diddy Kong became less and less threatening through time. Unlike Ultimate the best character got balance changes next patch.

@BloodNinja Idk. I felt like the art style is the least of the games problems from what I played on launch. Maybe its the stupid buck tooth every character seems to have?

The gameplay felt wack and very automated in a bad way so I bailed real quick.

Never had any of the issues I see some people whine about.

I couldnt tell it was a logo until I was told it was a logo. Just looks like plain text with a hot pink hollow box around it.

What about Spyro. I like Spyro a lot better.

GBA sprite work were amazingly vibrant and this captures it very very well.

Neither of these games ended up being good imo. Just serviceable or bad.

I can see a lot of great mods for this, definitely getting it on PC.

Shoulda been a remake. This game wasnt all too good.

I feel people are starting to not know what a remake is anymore. Twilight HD, Wind Waker HD, and Skyward ARE NOT REMAKES. They are remasters. The engine is completely the same with moderate improvements.

Glad to see some more love for non Modern Emblem when it comes to collectables. I'd love some Fire Emblem 2 and Tharcia figures.

@Nymos Its not your typical Metroid. Its a spin off called Metroid Federation Force starring the Federation. So "Protect the Convoy" makes complete sense. Put golf ball in thing though? Dumb.

They shoulda made Metroid Prime Hunters 2 instead. Hunters 1 had a pretty bland singleplayer but everyone I know loved the multiplayer for it, also Bounty Hunters aside Samus is a missed opportunity to delve deeper on.

Knock on Fed Force but I feel Chibi Robo got hit WAAAAY harder with Chibi Robo Zip Lash. That wacky experimental spin off (of the many that for some reason was on 3DS) was not what any Chibi Robo fan wanted but Nintendo thought it was a good idea to kill the series if it sells poorly on

I prefer the gyro controls.

While using gyro on bird sections is a miss. I find trying to do Spin Attacks and Jump Stabs absolutely obnoxious on the button control scheme. Also pressing L for camera gets annoying but thats less of a issue, I actually got used to that (Doesn't help that it transfers to other games I play by accident, haha).

Found this game kinda meh and tried to hard with breaking the 4th wall like many indie games. Always found it a eye roll.
Gratz on selling 500k though.

@Nontendo_4DS Yeah, I just really love the puzzles they offer, they do a lot with the sword functions and the gear you get in very clever ways. Theres puzzles in not only dungeons but every new fight encounter. I've never seen majority of them in Zelda before.

@PhhhCough I dont consider it a massive step back unless you dont like traditional 3d zelda like Ocarina onwards. The dungeons in the game are the best in the series, and there is a lot of quality writting for a zelda game. Its not as open ended since its traditional zelda before BotW but its still a great game, especially when this version fixed majority of the flaws.

Id say apples and oranges.

@DiamondJim I cant say I agree. Botw has too much technical issues such as pop in, aliasing, low resolution, and low framerate. The game is VERY blurry and I personally think the world terrain models look like clay or wet clay when it rains.

@Rob3008 The remasters of Ocarina, Majora, Twilight, Wind Waker, all still reviewed well.

I need to get this game on Steam some day.

Woah more acknowledgment of Persona 1 and 2. Maybe they will get updated ports some day. I've never played Persona series since they are just too long but Persona 2 always interested me the most as I hear a lot of positive things for its story.

One of the few Wayforward games ill pass on.

I feel like we are going to get more and more games with poor perfomance on Switch.

At this point I might as well just wait until emulating the game offers 60fps. Better chance of that at this point.

I liked about every first party game on there so ez A tier Direct for me. I dont care for the Tekken character though, looks kinda boring. Dont care for some of the 3rd party stuff like Kakarot, Cruisin, and that Sega Sim game.

Thats not a con, thats a gameplay design they changed for this title because they werent highly recieved by the community in the the previous title since Gougi being similar to a very infamous Gem mechanic (also just being way too wacky for competitive) in the Marvel vs Capcom games, causing some to drop the title and how dash was implemented previously made the gameplay overly rushdown with mimimal gameplay expression. Dash > do a simple chain combo > special LOOP special 2.

I heard positive things about this game when it was stadia exclusive in the Bomberman forums, ill give this a shot.
