Raw Fury - the creator of Kingdom Two Crowns - has announced it's rolling out a free update that will add a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night themed crossover event to the game. It's officially titled 'Kingdom Two Crowns: Dead Lands' and will become available on the Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on 28th April.
It's said to include a "dark and completely new setting" that will change how you rule your kingdom. Here's some additional information about what this update based on Koji Igarashi’s gothic horror action-RPG will include:
For the first time ever, Kingdom players will not only be able to change their mounts as they explore and expand their realm, they’ll also be able to switch between four new monarchs, each with a uniquely powerful trait. These four new playable characters come directly from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, including Shardbinder Miriam and three unlockables — the demon hunter Zangetsu, summoner Gebel and alchemist Alfred. Fans of both series will find other surprises waiting for them in Dead Lands, too!
The cover illustration (see above) featuring Miriam riding the mythic demon horse, Gamigin, was drawn by ArtPlay's Mana Ikeda - the artist behind the original package illustration for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Below are some direct screenshots of this update:

I planned to withhold from these entries until I more or less "beat" the first one on Steam, but damn... a Miriam ruler option here is a head turner. Well played, devs.
Is it limited time or will it be deleted and unavailable in a couple months? I just finished another playthrough and will need a break before I get sucked into that series again. Over 200 hours between both.
Great games. If you havent got them dont hesitate. Extremly addictive gems and best played on nintnedo switch. Nice to see the game is still supported and would love to see more updates like this in the future
Kingdom 2 crowns is a great indie game. Had so much fun, was bit of surprise to me.
I love these Kingdom games! Two Crowns started out quite buggy but it has improved greatly over the last year. Looking forward to this fresh coat of paint coming up. Already played this game on Switch for over 100 hours
More Miriam, please. We should have had her instead of an ARMS character in Smash!
@nhSnork Do you mean simply destroy all the small portals and then wait for the bitter end? I didn't think it's actually beatable.
@TsukiDeity well, from what I've read, destroying all portals does sound like the closest the playthroughs have to an end goal. Is there anything else? Doesn't seem like there are unlockables so far, but maybe I just haven't got far enough for them yet.
@Stu13 Lol, let it go salty smash fella. Already had Byleth complaints. Need them for ARMS as well, another unique fighter?
@Stu13 i'm interested in a arms fighter but i did pretend female byleth was miriam
Never even heard of this game but super interested now!
Of course only the first one is on sale right now so it’s “wishlist” for now! 👍🏻
and here was me hoping this was an update for Bloodstained
@TsukiDeity Unless it recieved an update since I last played. The small portals could be permanently destroyed however, the large portals don't stay broken they repair themselves (in what 2 or 3 years?) eventually you won't be able to stop the incoming hoard. If you can get to the point of destroying both portals before one repairs itself, I'd say your good to go and play New Lands. The first one is more like an old arcade game. You play to rack up a score in this case years.
How looks situation with Bloodstained on Switch right now? I wanted buy this game, but after release there was a lot of issues with this port, that's why I didn't buy it. :-/
Oooh! This looks cooool!
