@Mirage-5x5 New Super Mario bros wii and ds were pretty good though.

Also keep in mind this is not a new super mario bros game this is something different from the new super mario bros series. Its legit just a Super Mario bros game.

@Fizza Mario and Sonic are my 2 favorite game series next to pikmin. Im so glad Im going to play a new Core Sonic game and a new core Super Mario Bros game in the same month im going to be in gamer heaven. I love these 2 gaming icons. Nothing beats them.

@Waluigi451 I think Mk9 will be a launch title for the switch 2 in 2024.

This is *****. The ps2 originals ran at 60 fps. The switch is more than capable of Running ps2 games at 1080p 60fps.

Devs keep giving ***** ports to the switch and instead of being honest about them being lazy they just say "welp the hardware is just limited"

Who actually watched that Wario Ware trailer and thought that "excellent" that wario said was done by charles. It does not even sound close or like Wario at all lmfao. I understand Super Mario Bros Wonder cuz even I thought it was charles in that game though even though its not.

But seriously I think Wario is going to be the charector that suffers the most. Most people can do a somewhat decent Mario voice but Wario it seems like only charles can do.

I know we only heard one line by the new Wario voice actor but man he sounds horrible lmfao.

My mom gave me one of these oreo cookie boxes as a gift im not opening it im just gonna keep it sealed. In 10 years I can probably sell it on ebay for $150 xD

This really hurt me tbh. I was born in the 90s and super Mario 64 was my first video game I ever played. Been A mario die hard ever sense. Iv never missed a mainline mario game release since then. Charles just is mario for me they are legit 1 in the same. I know moving forward people will just forget and move on but I know deep down that I will still be playing the new Mario games but its going to feel like The main "version" Of mario has died and has been replaced.

Iv replayed pikmin 4 about 3 times now and im almost done with my fourth run. Im so addicted and still so happy this game finally came out.

@Vertigoat Its ok if you dont like Pikmin its pretty niche. Pikmin 4 is the most similar to Pikmin 2 out of the other games. So if you dont like 2 then you probably wont like this one. Although I will say this is easily the most polished Pikmin game out of the whole series so maybe you would like it. IDk

This is now my favorite game of all time. I will replay this game til the day I die.

@nocdaes I love pikmin and fzero so if Nintendo announces that rumored (most likely fake) fzero game I would lose my mind and pray to the Nintendo gods every night before bed xD

So far this game is every thing I was hoping for. So far its my favorite Pikmin but we will see if that remains by the time I 100% it.

@-wc- Iv never played a game where I eventually do not need a guide at some point. Iv played Every Mario and Zelda and for them Occasionally I will still need a guide for specific spots.

I stayed up til 5 am playing it last night. Pikmin 4 is my favorite game ever made now. So SO damn happy. The 10 year long wait was worth it.

Pikmin is my favorite game series of all time. I cleared my whole weekend schedule clean of anything that can bug me. Friday after work then saturday all day and all day sunday Ill be playing Pikmin 4. Iv waited for almost a decade for Pikmin 4 and now that its finally here I almost wanna cry lol

@TeaCatherine If we called cookies biscuits here I would probably eat alot more and be fat because Biscuits to me sound more healthy for some reason.

@Joriss After the huge success at the box office I had some friends ask me if they should go see it in theaters and my response was. If you love Mario and most of the games (especially the mainline games) Then you will love it. If you are not a Mario fan its probably not for you.

I want to meet charles one day. It would be an honor.

Its Charles Martinet. We have just gotten use to hearing the same Mario voice clips reused in so many previous games, this is the first time in a while that we got new voice clips from Martinet in a Mario game since Odyssey Im pretty sure.

Peach is a very nice charector. This little teaser showed hardly any game play so I cant say im excited for it yet but just how Luigis Mansion games are a fun spinoff in the mario universe that work well I can see peach having a fun spinoff as well. Definitely need to see more before deciding though.

@Mattock1987 Consoles are computers. Just not in the traditional sense. Like how your either Team PC or team Mac even though PC stands for Personal Computer and a macintosh is very much a Personal Computer, but its the branding.

Consoles are just pcs that are dedicated solely to playing video games.

So it technically is correct for him to say that new "zelda computer game" as weird as it sounds lol The switch is a computer technically.

This was my favorite Nintendo Direct of all time and I have watched every single one of them since they first came out under Iwata. My 2 favorite Series of all time are Pikmin and Mario and this direct felt like it was tailor made for me personally. 100/100 for me.

Iv played every single harvest moon (&story of seasons) and a Wonderful Life is hands down my favorite.

No game comes even close to it.

Although my 2nd favorite is Tree of Tranquility on Wii.

@Il_Nintenditore Open world Does not mean no level design. Its an open world crafted by the developers not a ai developed one that self generates or anything like that. One does not cancel out the other. Look how nice Botw and TOTK open worlds are. Tons of secrets hidden everywhere, You can just walk aimlessly and find tons and tons of things to do and not only that but it increases replay ability and total time spent with the game. Bowsers Fury although limited and more of a "test" Is one of my favorite Mario experiences I ever had. All the platforms and "sub levels" were handheld so fantastic in that game. If there was a full Mario Odyssey packed open world Mario game it would be fantastic.

I love this style of game. I also cant wait to see what they do with Mario after Bowsers Fury. I honestly think a big giant 3d open world Mario game like botw and totk would be literally the only video game I would need to complete my life. I love Zelda but I love Mario even more and if We got that ooooo man I would be complete and would probably never have to buy another video game again xD

Sadly Ill buy it on Steam Instead for 60 fps but This is the third most excited I am for a game this year. Pikmin 4 Zelda Totk and This one are the 3 games I am excited for this year. Cant wait to play it!

I think the only 2 ways to go about a Zelda movie would be like either A Lord of the rings esque movie where its real actors but realistic cgi for the supernatural/fantasy things in the universe, or an anime movie.

I loved the Mario movie as a die hard Mario fan but I am also a big zelda fan and I dont think illuminations art style would not mesh well with the Zelda Universe. But of course I could be wrong.

Yea I noticed this the first time I was cooking. Iv recognized about every song he hums. Very fun detail.

This game is truly fantastic. Im totally addicted to it. It really does deserve this success.
