Re: Nintendo Reveals Mario Vs. Donkey Kong's Opening Cutscene

@Tipehtfomottob I agree Im not a big fan of the Mario vs donkey kong sequels but this one is not the ones where you control the toys. This is the first one that you actually control Mario and there's a good platforming control with it. Its a sequel to Donkey Kong on the game boy.

Re: Nintendo Donating 50 Million Yen To Aid Japan's Earthquake Victims

@PinderSchloss I mean. I get not liking them for saying the number they donated. But at the same time they dont even have to donate at all tbh so idk I dont really care about that but I can see why you think it makes them look bad for pr sake.

But the gameboy surviving the bombing is honestly just impressive. It was used by a soldier in that war (who I believe actually survived as well as his gameboy) So I dont see anything wrong with it. Infact its really impressive and it shows how good nintendos hardware (used to be) when it came to durability. I dont think the switch would survive such a disaster lol.

@roy130390 Pokemon games on gba were not AAA Pokemon Games on Switch are much more expensive to make so they are AAA on switch. (even though the gba games were better but thats another discussion) And no the steam deck is not considered a hybrid for it being a pc its considered a hybrid because just like the switch, The steam deck can be docked into a tv. Thats why its called a hybrid. My steam deck is in the official valve made dock connected to my tv as we speak right next to my switch lol.

Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way

@Savage_Joe Well what I mean is if a game is made for like a gba for example even if the same game is on gamecube and ps2. The gba version would not be considered AAA right? Same thing with a vita version vs a ps3 or 360 version of a game. And if its exclusive to it that still kind of applies. Especially for the mobile versions of games that they always used to have to make a different game entirely for the portable consoles compared to the pc and console versions of the same game.

@Quiet2down Well im not one of those who say nintendo never copies. I do think the industry copies them alot (which is usually good) But Nintendo copies others alot to. For instance Nintendo even admitted they only thought of an open world Zelda like breath of the wild after the success of skyrim, So if there was no skyrim there would probably be no btw.

Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way

@roy130390 Almost all those vita games you mentioned were dedicated handheld releases that did not come to other platforms right? Thats what im meaning about AAA. I dont think activision put the budget of Cod mw2 into COD Declassified. Thats like saying Metroid Prime Hunters on d.s was a AAA game. It was a mobile only game.

The vita is not a hybrid, yet both the steam deck and switch are hybrid console/pc.

But i think you understand me wrong im not apart of the "console wars" I love my steam deck and my switch. Im playing the new Yakuza on it right now and its amazing. However Its just clearly obvious that the steam deck was a pc copy of the switch. And im not saying thats a bad thing Im glad it happened. And after Steam deck copied Nintendo, Asus Copied Valves steamdeck with the AOG Ally.

Copying is good for the industry, not bad, but we gotta call a copy a copy lol.

Im excited for this. My steam deck is being repaired by valve and once it comes back im selling it and buying the steam deck oled. I dont play playstation or xbox, I only play Steam and Nintendo. and I have 500 games on steam and like at least 2/3 of my steam library works on steam os.

Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way

@roy130390 I have a vita, switch oled and steam deck. I dont agree that people are claiming valve outright "copied" the switch but the Steam deck is vastly closer to the switch than the vita. The vita was a dedicated handheld, The switch and steam deck run AAA games on the go and are both hybrid systems. So the steam deck is not an outright copy of the switch but its the closest thing to it in the pc space.
