Wise business decision. The wii u is dead, the switch has not launched yet and should take some time to become a succes. Be it as it may the 3ds is currently nintendos best source of income. Wonder how the support will be when the switch becomes a succes.

Wrong approach Imho. Selling at a loss would ensure a more atttactive price. This could mean more sales in general.
Personally I will definitely buy the switch. but I will wait at least until christmas. on the one hand observe the whole thing and on the other hope for some nice christmas bundle. If the price was very low I might buy it day one.

In regard to handheld ds gaming? Yes!

I think its ni tendos best move. I dont really see the revolution though. Posiive aspects for me: the console is more powerful than the wii u. There will be just one console in the future that i need to buy. Saves money.

At first I was impressed. Day one for me I said. But today I think I am not too impressed. Probably something for the holiday season. I am basically in it for games by nintendo and level 5 and the likes. Dont care about skyrim.

I didnt count on it. Thats whyi bought myself a second wii u.

I hope wii u and switch versions of mk 8 and splatoon will play along online. Would feel ripped off if i had to buy the same game again

I could never get into the pokemon games. Recently I thought about giving it a try. The villains, team skull I presume, really turned me off so I think I will give pokemon another pass. Whatis odd though, I played the yo kai demo recently again and while I hated it the first time round I absolutely loved it this time. So much that I ordered the game. Who knows maybe my time with pokemon is yet to come.

Legend of legacy didnt really grab my attention

Admittedly I was a home console games for years. I just bought the 3ds in order to experience some nintendo games like zelda link between worlds which werent available on the big screen. At first I didnt like portable gaming, it was awkward. With time it grew on me. Right now its my favorite gaming device.

Nx exclusive. Sounds good for nintendo. Personally I didnt like the game that much. In fact I despise Ubisoft a little and decided about 9 years ago not to buy anymore ubi games. Imho they are just rehashed games on a yearly basis, milking the cow as much as it gets. Not saying bgav fits into this category but its certainly not a must play for me.

Quite a lot of stuff. Maybe i will buy one of those vanias. Circle or harmony or both.

And I agree again! The interesting thing is the gamble they are taking.
They said they couldnt reveal the nx because they were afraid someone mighy copy what they got in store. And this probably wont be the hybrid thing. So things are rather interesting.

On the other hand if its just another gimmick nobody needs....

While I agree with you, doesnt it make the whole thing even more interesting? I would call it a different type of hype, they show less or rather nothing at all. I mean hype comes with disappointment. You may be shown things that you dont get in the end like this no mans sky game.

In regard to nx, we know its supposed to be released in march and should be revealed long before that. We will have ample time to decide if we gonna pick it up or not.

I believe the nx will be really worth it.

Nintendo should put themselves into the position of the customers and ask themselves: would I be happy with discounts for games I already own? Would I like to be able to get a new free vc game every couple of months? Sorry that I am not interested in getting snes pilotwings.
Would I like to get a mediocre free theme? Which I would never use because I already own better themes....
Who knows, maybe they would answer all questions with yes, but I doubt they could be that naive

All is not lost? Its never. It all depends on nintendo and if they decrease their level of arrogance. The wii u wouldnt have been lost if they had mad the right decision. They apparently thought people are gonna buy and praise us no matter what we put on the market.
Today I received a copy if steamworld collection. It contained a promotional flyer if the eshop and the benefits of mynintendo. Yeah right. Instead of wasting money on the printing they could have made mynintendo more worthwhile.

Its totally poor on nintendos side. I trnd to buy my games physical and those are generally cheaper on launch than when they appear on mynintendo. Its just poor. Cheaping out its fans seems to be nintendos policy all the time

I dont think it was launched too early, it was just launched with poor options. Options dont need time, you can make them on the spot. Sure, free games like zelda picross need time to develope, discounts dont really need that. Same goes for vc games.

Zelda picross was the best thing so far. Other than that its a mess. Not really much to choose from. No incentive for me to make that extra purchase in order to get those extra points needed - for what?
I just hope there will be opportunities to make use of those accumulated gold points. Funny thing, as long as that zelda picross had its time limit I thought nintendo would replace it with another free game, well....
I dont really care about platinum points anymore...

Thats pretty steep. If its true many people will wait for the inevitable price cut

Will give this one a pass as I have given all current mp games.

I am totally open minded. Would like to play secret of mana first, though, and hope for a vc release.

Probably the latter. Its seems to be the last wii u exclusive game, wonder if nintendo still has something up its sleeve for wii u.
