Depending on how you look at it specs actually do matter. Personally I could stick to the wii u for a couple of more years buying and playing only games by nintendo. But nintendo abandoned its own console because of poor sales. Better specs, or specs on par with the other consoles might have worked a miracle.
One thing is certain: better specs wouldnt do any harm

Funny thing, when they had punch out for virtua console for 65 gold points I had 5 points missing. Then the game was gone. Now I have accumulated 150 points and nothing to spend them on. Not to mention those platinum points

Storage is again pretty laughable. Wonder if an hd storage would make any sense. In the past I was only interested in physical copies. Due to availability issues of certain games (pushmo, ace attorney etc) and vc games I began to reluctantly embrace digital as an alternative. And storage has finally become an issue for me.

I am growing weary of those debates. I am not in it for its power byt its software. I just hope it will be successful so that it wont get abandoned soon again I am looking at you Nintendo)

I forgot, I actually bought myself two spare wii us! Believe it or not!
And bot contained nsmbu and nsmlu in a bundle. And I own both games as separate copies. I dont really kbow If I am tempted by this offer

Its not surprising at all. Its just sad that nintendo didnt feel like bringing out more to those fans who invested in it. In regard to yokai laylee I think it was a pure business decision. Thats why its sad. Nintendo fans will buy the switch no matter what so it doesnt really make sense to cater for the wii u fans. Its understandable.

And another stumbling block to like nintendo as a company. If it wasnt for some of their games...
I just wonder what the message is here and with mynintendo. Does nintendo think nintendo fans are fools who buy everything nintendo puts its stamp on and are happy if they just get something, like an animal crossing wallpaper? Being a nintendo fan seems to become the toughest thing...

Yeah, I have got 100 gold points and nothing to spend them on.
Maybe this a secret tactic to make people buy a game they already own physical again as a download. Nintendo might think people wouldnt want to waste those coins, thats maybe why they had this ridiculous six months expiry date in the beginning.

Seriously, its getting oncreasingly harder to remain a nintendo fan. I mean most of their games are great but nintendo as a company leaves much to be desired. Stingy to say the least.
They could have at leat tried to make this mynintendo fun and attractive. Why not bring at least some vc games for half price or something

Sure! Its fully understandable. However, its also another point why wii u owners get screwed. First you invest into a console which nintendo didnt seem to bother with too much, and couldnt care less about any long term commitment. I mean we only got paper mario this christmas and botw seems to be the last game so apparently nothing new next christmas. Second, in order to get new games to play we have to move on to the switch and thats where those ports become a little bit annoying.
Anyway I am not going to get the switch before christmas...

I think its also arrogance of some sort. They seem to think their products are intrinsically better and therefore deserve a different marketing (wii u) and pricing strategy (3ds snes vc games). Sometimes its very user unfriendly - fe fates spevial edition comes to mind.

There are a couple of games that I might buy if the price is ok. Wonder if theres gonna be some new mynintendo rewards. Got 100 gold points and there hasnt been anything meAningful to spend them on

What I hate most about nintendo: their greediness. Sometimes it borders at insolence. When I think about mynintendo I wonder what kind of philosophy they are pursuing....

I actually bought beat the beat revently for about 18 eur on ebay, sealed with shipment.

If its true then its not impressive at all. Xmas holiday purchase at the earliest for me.

Generally it was a failure.
For me it was a total success. I have missed out on so many nintendo consoles in the past. The wii u has given me access to so many great games on virtual console, wii and wii u titles. I consider this consoles library far greater than any other consoles around.

They shouldnt blend mario with some uninteresting rabbids

Imho it doesnt hurt the industry if somebody buys a pirate copy of a game that he wouldnt otherwise have bought because of a lack of availability or a price that he couldnt afford to pay. the industry wouldnt have gotten his money anyway or didnt even to get it.

Wonder if theres gonna be skyrim amiibos

Seriously. I am gonna buy the swiitch no matter what. I am not gonna buy ps4 pro or scorpio. There will definitely be nintendo games to play. Zelda will come out sooner or later. Couldnt care less about skyrim.

I think its a good idea. Good marketing. Psycholigically it might remind parents about possible negligence towards their children and offers a solution which they can build up on.
But lets face it if parents are too stupid to spend some quality time with their kids even mario wont be able to help them out ☺

Gonna check that 7th dragon demo

I hate scalpers. On the other hand it gives you this feeling of owning something very rare, if you got it for a decent price and know that its worth more than double suddenly. Thats how I felt when my online retailer told me that they had put aside a fe fates copy for me and I got it for just 80eur.

Maybe, still I believe that most gamers stick to just one console. if they already own ms or sony they will continue their assassination crusade there. I think it wad a bad idea to just port games to the wii u back in the day. Companies like ubi complained about sales etc. I mean those games were not really an incentive to buy the wii u.

I doubt Ubi Soft games will have much success on the switch or any nintendo console. Nintendo gamers are more demanding when it comes to games and ubi soft fans play their games on the other consoles.but thays just my opinion

Its my only amiibo. I tend to collect things and the sheer number of amiibo released over time would have made my wallet cry. At moments like this I regret not having invested in amiibo 😕

I think I am ok with it. Too bad for those who wont be able to afford the switch right away and will get only one game for 2017. At least it will be a good game.

Hopefully they will bring out some nice ans exclusive rpgs. I doubt yo kai would fit. It ia tailored towards a dual screen and touch controls.

I played the pokemon demos, could never get into it. Finally decided to give the first yokai a try. Maybe I am stupid but this game has got me hooked for the last couple of days. Looking forward to the sequel. hopefully there will be more games localized.

Personally I hope for unique gaming experienes, not just third party ports of ps4 or box games. If i wanted to play those Id have bought a ps4 long ago.

Truth be told the 2ds is a fantastic entrylevel into ds gaming. I recently bought.myself a n3ds and wonder how much better it is.
