@martynstuff Fair enough, but if this is a step forward... then we need free trials way more often. A week at a time is good, I guess, as long as we're talking about a game a month.
So let me get this straight. We went from first-party once-in-a-few-months to third-party-at-best once-in-a-few-months? Work hard on that "appeal", Furukawa-san.
Pre-order bonuses, that's just golden. Other than that, it's shaping up to be better than the original in just about every way. Here's hoping I get to review it.
Kingdom Hearts III singlehandedly turned Einhander into a cult classic. I don't know about the game proper, but pre-release material makes this a perfect fit for the Disney/Square multiverse.
When you organize a gathering of the fans, walk on stage and the first thing you hear from the live audience is an anguished "fix the game" screamed at the top of the lungs, you should know there's a long way to go before moving on to other franchises.
There is nothing good that could come out of this. I could understand the reasoning behind limited releases when it comes to more niche stuff like MOTHER, I guess. But Mario? That's just free money that Nintendo doesn't want.
If I enjoy Mario as much today, it's because I got my start with Crash when I turned 10. It's a good time, but maybe I'd suggest getting through the N. Sane Trilogy first if you want to get some mileage out of the new entry.
Am I the only one not giving an absolute $#17 about 4K resolution here? I thought HD was already enough. Maybe it's just me though, me and most likely the fact a 4K TV would require a second mortgage or something.
We'll see either of those games pop up in a Direct this year, or maybe in 2022. The only thing Nintendo wants, probably, is to make sure they can slap a "... by popular demand!" label during the reveal.
Banjo-Threeie. Funded by Nintendo, developed by Playtonic, owned by Microsoft. Timed exclusivity on Switch, after a year (or less) it will be on Xbox One/Series X/S too. Sure, it's a wild guess but face it, we've seen weirder in the last few years. 2020 in itself notwithstanding.
Ryan Drummond was the first voice of Sonic, games-wise, for me. A bit nasal, for sure, and my region will end up with Renato Novara anyway, but Drummond would more than make up for Smith's contract ending.
Yeah, as if that's really the actual release schedule. Of course, we all know those are totally all the games we're going to see. Nintendo's gonna pimp it up big time before December.
The mid-gen upgrade shouldn't be a Switch Pro. It should be the Joy-Con Pro. A Joy-Con that does't drift, or at least does after a GameCube controller's worth of resistance. There, fixed it.
@Not_Soos Man, do they ever! Not much in the first game, but from the second onwards... hoo boy! Snow Biz, Sewer or Later, Double Header, Bee-Having, Bear It, and who could forget... PISTON IT AWAY. Yeah, it's a level name.

Expect the price to be in the four digits despite the design consisting mostly of spheres.

Well, that's a distraction from Mario for sure. I knew Nintendo needed something to lure gamers away from an anti-consumer practice.

Trains are 3D World material. They've been used for the Airship theme in Super Mario Maker 2, since the actual airships are from 3D Land.
