Those 75% are the normal Price.
75% off games that cost $10 or less, 30% off $60 AAA Switch exclusives from 2017 only
I wish the US had these deals
@Azuris 'Those 75% are the normal Price'
Sorry what? that sentence doesn't make sense it think. Anyway I'm hoping a 33% off Luigi's Mansion 3.
Nice!
There are a few games that I want to add back into my collection having sold off my physical games and I've been waiting for a decent sale to do that.
Fingers crossed!
Probably another Ubisoft sale then.
New sale, same old "33% off 4-year-old Nintendo games" offers.
Give us a proper discount on What the Golf.
@1ofUs
It does, but they seemed to be staggered.
For example:
https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/12/nintendos_huge_cyber_deals_sale_ends_today_up_to_75_percent_off_top_switch_games_north_america
(Although a quick look at the list suggests the max discount was 70%).
It would be nice if Nintendo did discount their 1st party games more than 33%, but I guess that they still sell really well (as seen by MK8D's physical sales). But considering the age of down of them, a drop in price might be idea?
Cries in American
I hope some 20-30$ games go on a sale. I don't like the price tag of the 60$ games, and the "less than 15$"-s seem easy to get. The 20-30$ though are a different pain in the back
I hope outrun sega ages will be part of this sale
I wouldn't mind getting some games off my wishlist.
I don't know what you guys are so pissed about. I got Hades during the X-Mas sale and it was like a month or two old at that point and a GOTY contender.
Yes, Nintendo's own games are usually not getting big discounts, but some of the best indie games can get massive discounts from time to time.
@brunojenso
If the Discounts are every couple of Month on the same amount, the "discounted" Price is the normal one.
And the Articles are Priced in the non discounted Time Period higher than elswhere only to show a higher Percentage.
Take Dragons Dogma for Example.
It 200% more expansive than on other Systems but also has something like a 75% discount.
Is it really discounted? No.
You Pay 7-8€ for it on other Places and 16€ on the Switch.
The 16€ are the normal Price, not the higher one.
Also the Nintendo Titles "discounted" and selled with a Price between 40 and 50 Bucks show their real Proce on those "Discounts"
It is just some Psychology they use.
To see real good Offers you have to follow the Price of an Article over a longer Time Period.
I'll take a scroll through my wish list as I do every week but there's only a few left that I'm super keen on and haven't already picked up so I don't fancy my chances of finding anything too exciting.
DOOM Eternal PLEASE
May not be top of everyone's list, but I've been waiting on a decent sale in PGA 2K21. Fingers crossed.
@AmplifyMJ I waiting for DOOM Eternal at $20, no matter how long that takes.
I still don't own the Switch "essentials" like Odyssey and BOTW ( have it on WiiU ). Nintendo is notoriously stubborn with pricing on their IP's. It's likely I'll find a used copy locally for sale at a reasonable price.
75% Dragon Ball Fighterz and maybe the Ubisoft Mario strategy game
Lets wait for some good deals!
DB fighter z 75% off. The rest 20% 🤪
@John_Deacon they are on sale right now soo maybe something else
Yeah, sorry Nintendo, but you will still not get me buying digital games, even with discounts
Hoping for some discount in Paper Mario, Pikmin or Cadence or Hyrule
@Doktor-Mandrake I got it in the last sale, get Virtua Racing if it's on sale too it's fantastic!
Same sale as the last but 2021
Damn you nintendo! I cant resist a good deal!
Fingers crossed for Celeste going under £10
@Bunkerneath 😂some fantastic games selling for £2 and less. The way you say it , its like you don't realise the only person missing out is you!
Actually are you joking? I can tell you have to have been being sarcastic though.
So Skyrim will now be at the low low price of £39.99 and Breath of the Wild will be discounted to the BARGAIN price of £47.99 or something like that.
Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle is already on Sale for the 200th time this year, so no further reductions on that.
I’ll have a look at the Sales, but I can’t imagine there will be anything I need. I’ll check my Wishlist though.
Never anything in these sales, but it’s always good to have a watch list just in case
@andyg1412 Ya I got VR when it first came out, absolutely brilliant port!
I tend to play VR on my pc a lot so I can use my wheel but VR on switch is great for on the go arcade goodness
Sega need to release Daytona USA on switch, x360/ps3 had a port that like VR on switch is fantastic
Imagine the sales spike if BotW was available for £20? Everyone who doesn't own that game, would buy it. Another 40+ million extra sales. A Switch selects range surely must be round the corner.
Yet the 1st party games will still be cheaper at retail or ebay
Is this the last push Rindsleders games after the new announcement tomorrow?
I hope for Doom Eternal
@1ofUs
Hopefully it will apply to us too
@Jimmy_G_Buckets
If they release a Switch 2 in the future that is backwards compatible, I see them creating a Selects line where they can sell 1st party games 50% off as regular price.
@FargusPelagius
I hope we don't have to wait for a backward compatible Switch successor for that to happen
@Archius9
Its been £6.11 before so is possible
I hope for a sale of Disjunction. It's not very expensive as it is, but I have such a huge backlog that I even hesitate on this prize.
@RIC616 50% off at the moment
Is the uk still part of Nintendo Europe
@valcoholic people want stuff for nothing
@reyaskcin Cheers, will be grabbing that then.
@jamesthemagi fingers crossed then!
After pre ordering Pokémon snap I made a solemn promise to myself not to buy any more games until I’d cleared huge backlog. Oh well, time to buy more games
There's a few on my wish list that are a little tempting but nothing that really stands out as a must buy. I've picked up most of the games that I'm super keen on at this point.
Absolute garbage.
So many good games discounted. Will probably buy Blacksad and maybe a couple of others. Civ VI would be fun but I will probably never have time to play it
So basically only Doom
Sonic Forces is still 39,99€ in Europe... so weird
What a poor selection.
Skyward Sword £17.99.
Oh wait, that's the Wii U version
Having played it on PS3 years and years ago, I recently picked up Burnout Paradise for the pre-sale price - at £12.50 that's a total bargain and well worth it if you haven't played it for a while and can't/don't want to play on any other system.
I've never played Among Us. For less than £3 will give it a go.
Anyone got any recommendations from the current sale pile? The recommendations on this page are just the same as the ones on the eshop front page (shop on PC for the win instead of the horrible eshop on the Switch!)
May have to pick up Burnout Paradise at that price
@ukaskew Wii version
Woo, Wunderling is £2.79! Had my eye on this puzzle platformer for a while since playing the demo.
I don't know if you might want to highlight this @ryancraddock as it got an 8/10 on here.
Edit: I see the two Yooka Laylee games have good reductions too.
L.A Noire £22.50 😂
@mr_benn Virtua Racing and Street Outlaws: The list are nice arcade race games on sale right now.
Actually have all of the ones in the highlights list. All good by the way. Will look into it deeper later today particularly the wishlist of course.
Seen that Bug Fables is £19... Heard it's on par with Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door... Anyone confirm it's that good?
Also Burnout is tempting. Haven't delved into a driving game since Need for Speed Underground 2 on PS2! xD
I guess I might be willing to check out Labyrinth of Refrain at this price but that‘s about it for me.
Bioshock is 7.99 on Xbox 🙈 I nearly bought it yesterday. I certainly won’t be paying 19.99
I was expecting some 30% first party (hoping for Paper Mario and Pikmin), what a shame
Just got Contra Anniversary collection 75% off. Not an extreme Contra fan I admit, but I have played a bit of the arcade game and Contra 4 (not on this collection mind you, it's a DS game).
Will look into it at some point and try to get bit better at it.
Just sad. That's it. I can't think of something more to say.
Deku Deals email: "Price Drop (x352)"
Yeah, the sale is live alright. 😆
So again we see games that everybody already has. :/
Very tempted by Civilization but then I won't get any work done..
@mr_benn
Among Us is free on your phone
Hope you have online otherwise it doesn't make sense on Switch
Got the Lego DC Villains deluxe edition, first time to try a Lego game. If it is a success I might try the Star Wars collection that is coming up
How much in euro please ??
15 euro for Burnout paradise is not a horrible price to pick it up for, Switch is lacking such games and this port seems to be a good job.
Already have a lot that is on sale including on the list. However, downloaded childreb of morta and ninja saviours from my wishlist.
gon' get dat GRIS
Ima make a European account
Burnout at that price is really good, I strongly recommend it to those who love racing games.
