@Gamecuber Smart move to wait just in case. When I heard about the DLSS upscaling process, I thought maybe Nintendo would indeed make a Pro version. I guess they're saving that tech for the next console. I agree, this new version seems to benefit handheld mode more than docked mode.

5 years, wow. I remember being at a convention and laughing at the image of 30 people pointing their phones at a chandelier in the hotel lobby because a bunch of Zubat was inside. And then a few weeks later when panic erupted at a grocery store because a kid announced there was a Caterpie on top of the cucumbers. Staff thought it was an insect infestation.

I was attacked on online gaming forums for my "poor decision" to buy a Switch in March of 2018 because "the Switch Pro" was going to be announced "tomorrow" and I was going to be "sorry." No, I am absolutely not sorry for buying a Switch when I did.

These features are great for the primarily handheld gamer, but as someone who primarily plays on TV, and is too far from the router to run a cable, I shall happily pass.

Road Rash? If they even own the IP anymore, I haven't a clue. Road Redemption is pretty good but I got tired of it quick and went back to the old Sega Genesis Road Rash games.

I'm honestly surprised there have been over 37 Sonic games on Nintendo platforms.

Oddly enough, if I download a new game or DLC content, it's fine. If I download a patch, it's difficult.

I respectfully disagree. Nintendo's Direct wowed me, and I was absolutely thrilled for Metroid and Advance Wars fans.

One of the few times I'm stoked for several games and very happy for others for getting the games they've been asking for for years.

Huh. I did have trouble downloading an update last night but I thought it was my Internet. It worked eventually, the 4th try.

If it was just a bigger screen and slightly more processing power similar to the New 3DS XL, I wouldn't upgrade. I primarily play docked.

I guess the horses don't like the new stables and broke free. Now Nintendo has to round them up again.

@Magician I'll never forget one game where two players were having video coitus with each other, props and all. I have to give them a tiny bit of credit, neither of them lost their focus on the game.

If the Pro does come out, I can't wait for the disappointment when it doesn't live up to every rumor ever stated.

My first shiny was a Geodude in Leaf Green. Unfortunately it used Self Destruct after I got it down to 1 HP.

The dragon's eyes and teeth in the NA cover are unnerving.

I had a similar expierance when I was a kid. I was in my local card shop and I opened a pack of Pokemon cards I had just bought and pulled out a shiny Charizard. I was impressed by the artwork but another customer, a grown man buying baseball cards from the collector case, snatched it out of my hand. The employee stopped him from leaving thankfully and I got my card back. The customer made the argument that I, a "stupid" kid, will only wreck the card by playing it in the game. While he, a collector who buys and sells all kinds of trading cards, will "appreciate" the card for what it is.

I did indeed wreck that card by playing the card game with friends and I have no regrets.

Heck yeah! I LOVE Cruisin Blast. I spend way too much time on it at the arcade. I wouldn't mind the other Cruisin games as well but I do want Blast at home.

I kind of like the graphics. I'm a sucker for old 3D models with the edges and pixels smoothed out but to charge $45 for it seems a lot.

I played Wario World all the time on the demo station at my local Toys R Us when I was a kid. When the 3DS came out, I expected it to come out, especially with the 3D Classics line of games. If it ever comes out on the Switch, I will gladly play.

@MysteryCupofJoe From what little I understand, it's the digital equivalent of owning an original piece of artwork, even though prints of said artwork are freely available everywhere. You have proof you own the original.

Europe for sure. Japan is super dull and North America reminds me of those 100 Card Games On One CD ROM! PC games of the 90s and 2000s.

I certainly respect this game's design. I love indie games that have weird and wild designs like this. I'll probably buy it just to support the developer.

@AlienX Do you have CFW installed or just a regular hack like Cubic Ninja? Or does the New 3DS handle GBA ROMs better than the OG 3DS?

The Gamecube was purple. The Game Boy Advance was purple. The Switch Lite is blue.

E3 is too expensive to attend anyway, and their plans to rebrand as an influencer event are more than enough reasons to stay far away.

I saw pre-order receipt slips selling for 10 grand USD back in the fall, so a few grand doesn't surprise me. Maybe a handful will sell at that price but I wouldn't treat it as the norm.

I remember getting random hugs at conventions because people were so happy that my Mii had so many pink puzzle pieces that they needed.

The stick wore out too soon and became crap, and most games ignored the d-pad.

Looking forward to Pokemon Snap and Miitopia. The Theme Park Simulator Collector's Edition baffles me. What's so special about it, a manual that actually explains the UI? If I can point my JoyCon at the screen like a gun, I might get the Chicken Shot game, and a gun cradle.

I might get the Riding Club and Spirit games for my little cousin if the controls are decent.

I'm fine with loose carts up unless it's a Switch game. Then I demand CIB. I vastly prefer the original case with disc games. I hate buying games online and receiving an envelope or a blank DVD case.

@ObeseChihuahua2 Ikr? I remember people telling me in 2018, "don't buy a Switch. A Pro version is coming out any day now." If I listened to those fools, I would have missed out on 3 years of awesome gaming on the Switch.

I'm not crazy about the art style, but I'm buying the games regardless.

I bought one at launch and then upgraded too many times. The only model I've never owned was the small New 3DS. It's a great little system.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who disliked Diamond and Pearl. I honestly don't even remember exactly why I hated it, just nothing really clicked. At the time, I worried that maybe I was getting too old for Pokemon, but when Black and White was released, I fell in love with the franchise all over again. Yes, I did play Platinum and my thoughts did not change.

I hope a remake comes out and somehow this time, it clicks and I like it.

I sorely missed the ability to play my DS and 3DS games on my TV. I was often playing my Game Boy Pokemon games on my TV via Pokemon Stadium and then my GBA games via the Gamecube. I think this is just a dev kit function or designed for kiosks, not for consumer use.

I love the game on my PS4. I hope it's a good port for those getting it on Switch.

I'm hoping for a Sinnoh remake but I doubt this means anything, especially a Let's Go version.
