Mattel, Inc. and Ubisoft have announced a new piece of DLC for UNO, the super-popular video game version of the well-known card game.
The 'UNO 50th Anniversary DLC' offers up a new deck of premium, "velvety black" cards, a renovated black and gold board, a commemorative gold coin, and even a brand new rule. This rule is attached to an exclusive 50/50 card – when someone plays it, the coin is tossed to see who has to draw four extra cards.
You can grab this new DLC from the eShop starting today for $2.99. You can also find Winter Theme and Rabbids DLC for free, and Rayman, Just Dance 2017, UNO FLIP! and Fenyx’s Quest DLCs at an additional cost.
The Switch edition of UNO often finds itself sitting in the eShop download charts, so it's a pretty popular version of the game. Do you play UNO on Switch? Will you be getting this new DLC? Tell us below.

I'll just get the 50th anniversary UNO physical card deck thank you very much.
I remember playing Uno on Xbox 360. All the players who owned X360 cameras giving other players...free peep shows. sigh Those were the days.
I love uno. but I am spoiled with the LAST CARD game on club house games. I just like it better. but good for UNO.
the rabbids deck is what makes it good to me.
Last Card on Clubhouse Games is actually a LOT more fun than the Ubisoft version of Uno. And it doesn’t need bells and whistles to make it cool because the gameplay is so good it outshines everything else. Love it!
@Kiyata @tntswitchfan68 😎 I will have to check out Last Card! Thanks!
I am surprised that Clubhouse Games still doesn’t include Cribbage.
@Tandy255 I know. like where are hearts and spades? I do not know if we will ever get a sequal. but some DLC would be nice.
@tntswitchfan68 It9s called ‘51 Worldwide Classics’ so I think a sequel is more likely than DLC.
I own Uno but do not play it often because the loading times and speed that it moves is horrible for a simple card game. I bought it with Gold Points during a sale and while it is fun, it is quicker and easier (in my opinion) to just play Last Card on Clubhouse Games.
@HotGoomba Just this. This is very much a game to play with the family or with friends in person. With actual cards. And booze for those of age.
I just don't see myself ever choosing to play this game as a video game.
@Magician I'll never forget one game where two players were having video coitus with each other, props and all. I have to give them a tiny bit of credit, neither of them lost their focus on the game.
@BabyYoda71 well there is the piano game though. so that is 52. but I would much rather have a sequal like you said. I just like board games and card games and I enjoy the title very much.
@tntswitchfan68
I was disappointed hearts and spades wasn't in the game especially as they were my favourites of the original ds game. Not that I don't like the switch game but I would happily pay for DLC that added the "missing" games into it.
@Nuclearpineapple. I totally agree with you. wish they would put the missing games back in as well.
Great. Won't be getting it, though. Last few times I have tried to get a game going on Switch I would get kicked back because it couldn't find me a game. Either its dead on switch or I have truly rotten luck. Will buy the deck irl if I find it in the wild though, same with Flip which looks really fun
Why are the Rabbids, Winter, & Just Dance themes DLC now when originally they came as part of the game? I don't get it... they Ubisoft took existing in-game content and separated it as DLC later after it already had been released as part of the main game? That's really scummy and shady, I can't believe they did that.
