Great game and a great surprise bonus! I'll have to circle back around to this someday soon.

I began playing Dark Souls for the first time earlier this week, and I am now completely addicted to the slog that is progress. I am currently in Blighttown at level 37 and I have two firm takeaways from this game:
1. they weren’t lying when they said Dark Souls is difficult
2. I suck at Dark Souls

Mine's arriving in the mail today! I can't wait to play it.

I played the Angel at Dusk demo earlier today, and it's pretty interesting. I'll grab it on a larger sale some day for sure.

River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next and Raiden Nova for me!

No Game Boy Tetris is unfortunate. That's the Tetris that had the most impact for a lot of Nintendo gamers.

@fenlix It's a pretty good game, but not great. It's basically a side quest collect-a-thon. There's no combat or anything remotely challenging in it. If you're a fan of Crayon Shin-chan it will help with your level of enjoyment, I think.

Not consulting Sakai-san at all is a dirty move. That aside, I wonder if this game will be a bit more forgiving; the first game is extremely difficult.

I’ve got the deluxe edition preordered from Nintendo Japan. I can’t wait to get into this with the Famicom controllers.

I'll reserve a 10 for something that blows my mind, but this Direct was as good as it gets.

Lovely! I'm going to Japan tomorrow and will still be there when these launch, so I'll scoop one or two up. There are some nice Capcom 40th Anniversary shirts there right now too. (not to mention a nihonshu series as well)

@jolteon23 I just started playing it last week and really like it so far. I'm around 7-8 hours into it. The combat is musou in nature as stated above, but it's nowhere near on the same level as Warriors games. There's often one strong enemy surrounded by a handful or two of weaker enemies. I'd give it a recommend, but I'm also relatively early into it.

@JJtheTexan For RBI Baseball on Switch it was always Blue Jays on the cover in Canada; however, for The Show it’s the same everywhere.

I wrapped up Sea of Stars last night. All I’ll say is it exceeded my rather lofty expectations. I’ll be moving on to Gensei Suikoden Plus this weekend with a Tents and Trees session mixed in between.

Great game, and a great opportunity for those who haven't played it yet.

That’s a nice surprise. I had a fun/nostalgic time going through this collection. If Activision games are on the board then I’d love to see Seaquest and Keystone Kapers.

I have to wait until the 30th to play Wonder, so I’m going to play through Mail Mole this weekend. I began it yesterday and it’s a fun little 3d platformer. A good one for kids, I’d say.

I’m going to Japan next weekend where my physical copy has already been delivered by Amazon. This will be the longest week of my life. Woe is me.

On that note, with the current state of the Japanese Yen my order came out to $50 Canadian total. If I were to buy it in Canada it would be $90 after tax. This is why I always load up when I’m in Japan.

I’m going to be checking out all of the free content released in Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits earlier this week. I’ll also be playing some Arcade Archives Shusse Ozumo because tomorrow is the final day of the Nagoya basho and I’m incredibly hyped for it right now!

I started playing Aragami 2 a couple of days ago and it’s not nearly as good as the first one. I’ll most likely move onto something else and come back periodically to chip away at it until it’s complete.

My first thought when seeing some “Nothing for me this week” votes was, “Why do you even have a Switch then?”, but I get that what will be one of the console’s greatest games isn’t for everyone.

@Teksetter I’ve recently done the same thing. Catalogued everything from my Atari 2600 to my Switch. It was nice to discover some older games, mostly from the NES and SNES era, that friends have dumped on me throughout the years that didn’t even know I have.

I recently discovered that I bought all seven of the Picross e games for 3DS a while back which I assume was in a drunken state, so I’ll be chipping away at the first one of those. I’m also going to unwrap Akai Katana Shin for Switch for the first time today. I just finished up Omori a couple of days ago, but I haven’t decided which RPG to get into next. I’m leaning towards either Atelier Sophie or Chrono Cross, but that could completely change to something a bit shorter like Aragami 2 or Kamiwaza.
