Fishing simulation title Fishing: Barents Sea is headed to Nintendo Switch under the title Fishing: Barents Sea - Complete Edition, it has been confirmed. You'll be able to catch it from 10th December.
The game takes players to the icy coasts of Northern Norway where they'll get their very own fishing boat and refill their stock including baits, lines and more functional equipment before heading out on a (hopefully) successful fishing haul. More than 12 different boats and ships are available to unlock, providing larger storage capacity, higher speeds and extended fishing quotas.
There are different types of fishing to master - such as long line fishing and net fishing - and you'll have to deal with real weather conditions like fog, wind, rain, snow and sun. You'll also notice AI ships out on the water, hopefully making everything seem even more realistic and cheery as you fish.
The game will launch as a complete bundle including the base game as well as all DLCs published to date when it arrives on 10th December.

Could we get a Guide to best switch fishing games? I'd like a nice relaxing Ocarina of Time style fishing experience for the Switch. A lot of games try to make it seem too dynamic, just want to chill out with some fishes.
Perhaps Link's Awakening is the closest?
@bluemujika Ultimate Fishing Simulator on the Switch is really good, and realistic? I'm no rl fisherman. It might look easy, but catching the type you want and size is a challenge.
Well thats good ,...i guess ?
Well, the water sure looks nice...
All kidding aside: not really my type of game, but good for the people that do like it, I suppose.
On a side note: how weird that they misspell the name of the sea in English, considering it's named after the Dutch navigator Willem Barentsz...
