@Splash_Woman It's an arcade cabinet, those things are made to withstand years of the worst kinds of abuse and make profit way before they become obsolete (highly depends on the owners).
@axelhander Saying that Nintendo shouldn't exist with a Link profile picture from an animation that was made in an era when everyone tried to milk their franchises dry in all means necessary to maximize profits.
@KingMinosOfKnossos It's way beyond the first, there were 4 Call of Duty games on the Wii, many some low budget portable versions on the DS and 2 mainline games on the Wii U. Just goes to show how low the industry used to go for big sale numbers.
Corporate translator: "Thanks for still buying the same game we release on a yearly basis, but you should do better than that, although don't expect us to do better too".
@LazyDaisy Apparently anything you do on these consoles is only Japanese, meaning you can only use Japanese carts, Japanese accounts and Japanese language, and since most games determine their language by the system language it means you're mostly stuck using it only in Japanese. Also, Japanese accounts are extremely locked compared to other regions as you need a Japanese address to pay with credit card, PayPal, or even purchase gift cards from amazon (saying that from experience), so you also have to pay marked up prices on gift cards from sites like Play Asia. In the long run it is a very bad deal for a non-Japanese user but a very good deal for Japanese that don't care about only buying games in Japan.
Congrats to all the people in Singapore that will enjoy better and more Nintendo stuff!
@ezzy23 I don't think so, I still use the EU and US shops despite having an Israeli shop as of 2019, although if it was even a real eshop I might consider it.
https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon OOPS! I just droped a link full of hard facts that the pokemon company is a multi-billion dollar company that has the power to sell you anything they would want you to buy. Their main series is just another obstacle along the way to make hard-core fans still believe in this stupid brand that resists to evolve for the sake of their cash cow. A company with this much money and this much ignorance wouldn't care how stupid their old fans think they are, as long as everyone 12 and below know who pikachu is.
Anyone who says that "Nintendo should've opened in my city the second store" I can say to you a few things: 1.THIS ISN'T NINTENDO JAPAN'S DECISION!!!!!!! This move is a part of tor gaming's (the now official nintendo distributer in israel) decision in order to let people know that Nintendo are here. This has nothing to do with "why not london, seattle, california, or any other city in the world". 2.Just look at the comment by @refael as he did a way better job than me about explaining the whole picture. 3.Again, This isn't Nintendo of japan's thing to decide! Those guys have much more important things to do other than decide where would be the next best location to build an official store. That is absolutely Nintendo of Israel's decision to pull this move stratigicaly and financially. tl;dr if anyone wants a store in their city, Doug Bowser and Tatsumi Kimishima will not give a single care if you live in London
I think that no co-op at all makes the two versions dependable on the person. Also the Wii version got better visuals, which is one the game's biggest selling point.
I hate when companies hype sales with "up to 50%" but the biggest sale is also for the worst game, and anything worthy costs very close to the original price.
It's great and all but you forgot the most important info about this thing: FOR WHAT PHONE?!?! I bet my xiaomi note 4 will be very sad because there's no way they will make one for it.
I guess that this is nintendo's way to futureproof the switch for a future where usb c headphones are a standard thing in the market, thanks to the fact that usb c is meant to be anywhere and in everything that exists
Well, if there is one company that could screw up a 3 years old game, it must be ubisoft. Congratulations ubisoft, you couldn't even figure it out until it was almost too late...
Hmmmm, I'm seeing a trend here where instead of porting their best games, companies prefer to port mobile games and old titles that are easy to port and require minimal attention.
I'm happy that I was able to get myself the smaller model and not the xl. Before that one I owned the original 3ds so the bigger screens in combination with the better grip was the perfect choice for me and I don't regret it.
Also the faceplates are awsome and the size is just small enough to put it in my pocket. The only downside I have with it is that the black model is a fingerprint magnet and the white one probably collects dust and dirt super fast. Playing xenoblade on this thing was the best portable gaming expirience I could ever wish for
@Grumblevolcano well, I cannot agree more about the switch and the 3ds, but I have a doubt about the snes mini if it's ever going to be a thing this year or even at all
Seariously?! Did nobody see the borders on the side of the screen? I am sorry to depress you all but I don't think snes borders will be a thing in VC so I believe that this is an official port by SE rather than virtual console.
It's about time!!! And the only exclusive thing we got is a free 2 star hero in fire emblem heroes. I wonder when will come the day that no one will notice apple exclusives just because they won't exsist
@Asaki Nah, it was a wii u which was at the start of hacking. That was a huge mistake from nintendo's part for not securing their consoles before using them for demos at e3. But like alot of demos, we may get our hands on this demo too
Whining about the late time? Well, I live in israel, so I have to wake up at 4am! And also it's a day after a gaming convention that ends at 10pm! TALK ABOUT REAL HYPE!!!
Well there is nothing special about what that happens here, sony did it too with the psp and the vita but unlike nintendo they actually went and fixed the problem, so all the issue with ironfall and the other exploits are totally nintendo's falt for doing nothing but remove the games off the eshop. Their research and development team could easly block the entire scene with a few firmware updates but instead they just sit there and do nothing. And by the way, except for freakyforms and ironfall, all these titles are having much better sales than on the 3ds, games like vvvvvv are probably doing way better sales on steam anyway.

Re: Random: Disney's Terrible DS Game 'Cory In The House' Is Now Selling For Hundreds Of Dollars On eBay
I can't wait for the WATA auction on this game, if SMB 1 and SM64 weren't stupid enough and they wanted to go even lower this is their chance.

Re: 45 Switch 1 & 2 Games You Should Check Out In Nintendo's 'Supercharge Sale' (North America)
Nintendo are going full force with the amount of sales, ever since the switch 2 launched I don't think I saw a week without an ongoing big eshop sale.
