In this oh-so-serious world, it's always a treat when someone with a job as demanding as being series producer for The Legend of Zelda shows their funny side. Over the years Eiji Aonuma has made us smile quite a few times, and in order to tap into this Nintendo of Europe has started posting and sharing some fun videos with the game creator.
Naturally they're promoting The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and remind us a little of some of the quirky videos you see on the official Sonic the Hedgehog social media channels, for example. Aonuma-san takes on the role of Link, but in the lowest budget and quirkiest ways possible.
These remind us of another favourite moment of Aonuma-san's, which we dutifully share as often as possible - that time he did a Cucco dance.
Never change, Aonuma-san.
With thanks to Jean for the heads up.

What a legend. This reminds me of the time Shigsy was in the Mega64 video for Super Mario Bros.
Look at all that snow! Meanwhile all I get here is the cold
where is he supposed to be?
I'm going to slash those chickens like there's no tomorrow.
@biscuitsandtea
Yeah. I'm in Oklahoma. A few weeks ago we got 3 inches of snow on a Friday, then it was in the 60's by Monday. Then we had a 77 degree day last week and now it is barely over 40 degrees only five days later!
I don't know. I'm thinking the new ones are a notch above the cucco dance.
approaches the master sword; throws snow
HRRRRRGGGHHH! HRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGG!

Our Thomas couldn't say better: "Never change, Aonuma-san". Way to go! Aonuma-san will surely be a top 3 (with Miyamoto-san and Iwata-san) in my personal chart about "best people in gaming industry ever". I personally think at the end of all i'll be greatly thankful to all of them for the great experiences that we can live with Zelda
It's full story with photos and comments, not only these two videos. You can find it on UK Nintendo page: http://www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2017/February/Join-The-Legend-of-Zelda-producer-Eiji-Aonuma-on-an-adventure-into-the-wild-1183466.html
@kamikazilucas Snowpeak Ruins.
its munich because of jg mayer
Finally some Nintendo advertising I can sit through. No cheesy millennials, no impossible families, good stuff
This is a better tv commercial for breath of the wild than the fake laughs of the hipster parties.
@rdrunner1178 We had some odd temperatures' like that not too long ago, but now it's just cold in Chicago. There's some random snowflakes every now and again but it's nothing compared to what Chicago had when I lived here 15 years ago.
Well, all of Nintendo's staff are meme machines, making new meme a month
Lol i like the fact he is just a normal guy like us all. While he makes the best game ever in history.
The LOLZ of Aonuma: Snows of Time.
@erv

@Ed_Fairway: Thanks! I almost brought up Oracle of Seasons, but couldn't think of a phrase that quite fit.
Also, I'm glad that someone here seems to recognize Dorumon!
Aonuma looks like he's constipated in that photo.
@biscuitsandtea the snow is already gone mostly
No fair playing with those amiibo before we can. Love his sense of fun. Gotta have it to make games.
My initial thought from the picture was that he had accidentally dropped something heavy on his foot. Haha! What a goof! I love seeing them get silly. XD
Love it.
@erv @Cia I second that. f*ckin hipsters
@rdrunner1178
I feel you, man. I'm an okie too! This weather has been messing with people's immune systems so much. My wife came down with something yesterday.
Man that snow looks so awesome! I want snow!!
He's hilarious, if it doesn't exist already they should make a plushy of him in links clothes. That would be awesome
Mr. Aonuma, thank you very much for these.
Lol!
What a guy.
Oof! Right in the Snowballs.
