Re: Talking Point: What Would You Like to See From Pokémon Sun and Moon?

savage_celery

I wouldn't mind having a chance to collect more badges. I remember in silver how I could go to Kanto and battling the gyms there. I found it as a fun add on to explore Kanto again. That would be great. Also finding a way to optimize it for the N3DS, something that would add more to those playing on the N3DS. Other than that, I still enjoy the game. I'm really looking forward to the games.

Re: Poll: Are You Confident About Nintendo's 3DS Focus for 2016?

savage_celery

This is the reason I have stuck with my 3DS and even upgraded to the N3DS XL. There are a lot of good games to play now, and this lineup is definitely solid. There are still a good amount of games that I need to finish up. I really can't wait for the new Pokemon games and also the two dragon quest remakes. Also, I'm looking forward to Zero Time Dilemma.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of My Nintendo and Miitomo?

savage_celery

Miitomo so far is nice, they definitely could expand some more in areas. Overall it's a decent app and a good time waster for me.

MyNintendo just makes me glad we have some form of a rewards system back. Though the coins expire a little sooner than desired, it does encourage you to use them. But the fact that physical copies don't earn you anything is kind of a drag.

Re: Guide: Which Nintendo 3DS or 2DS System Should I Buy?

savage_celery

I had the original 3DS in 2011 and traded it this past summer for N3DS XL at GameStop when they were running a good trade in deal. I don't regret it at all. The N3DS runs so smooth and I rarely get "ghosted" when using gyro sensors in games like Star Fox 64 3D. And just having an XL works better for me, less hand cramping. And the 3D just looks better in games, I rarely play with it off. The SNES games on the N3DS are nice since I don't have the Wii U to get games like Earthbound. Also, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D really drew me in.

Re: Feature: Looking Back at the New 3DS Launch, Nintendo's Perfect Valentine's Day Gift

Traded in my 3DS that I bought back in 2011 for the N3DS XL this summer, definitely the best upgrade choice. I really enjoyed my 3ds but I could stand how I could get "ghosted" every once in a while. The N3DS XL has been so much better, and I have played my N3DS way more due to how good the 3D looks. And this time around I really wanted an XL. The bigger screen works a lot better for me.

Re: Review: Terraria (3DS)

savage_celery

I was contemplating getting this version of the game, but I don't see myself getting it for the 3DS. As I already own it on Steam for a while before they announced it for 3DS/WiiU, I'll most likely stick with that version.

Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016

savage_celery

I really can't wait for Zero Time Dilemma. I can't wait until that comes out. Also, the original pokemon games are in my view for picking up. And whenever Dragonquest 7 and 8 come out will be what I am watching for as well.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's 2015?

savage_celery

A decent year, I would not consider it bad. Splatoon being a solid game. The N3DS was a good move with a faster processor and better 3D for those who constantly got ghosted to the point of not using 3d on 3DS, but they need to capitalize on the system with more crowd drawing exclusive games. If they could do that, it would be great.

Re: Nintendo Remains Bullish Around the 3DS and Its Future Prospects

savage_celery

I'm not really ready for the 3ds era to end, I have enjoyed that system a lot. I bought the original 3ds and then traded in recently for a deal to get the new 3ds xl. I know all systems come to an end at some point. So I'm glad they aren't ending it quite yet. I'm still looking forward to playing a few games like Zero Time Dilemma, Dragon Quest VII, and a few others.

Re: Amazon Lists Pokémon Red, Yellow And Blue At 10 Bucks A Pop

savage_celery

I don't know if I can believe Amazon with this. At this price though, it's still saving me from a few dollars to pay. My local trading post has the original games at 25$, and that's without knowing if the battery is good and also a questionable condition. I don't know if I'll be getting it right away. But I do wonder if Amazon's price is official.

Re: 3DS Homebrew Hacker Turns to YouTube App As Latest Workaround for 'Tubehax'

I can see how this is good, only for region unlocking for me that is, wouldn't mind actually getting some jp games that havent released over here (Inazuma, Dragonball Heroes: Ultimate Mission, Corpes Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear... and the list goes on) Just saying, region lock has held me back from some titles I doubt we will ever see come to any other region.
I doubt I'll pick up on this exploit but this should show nintendo how serious we are about this region lock issue.

Re: Sonic Classic Collection On Nintendo DS Cut Content Including A Crazy Taxi 4 Pitch

savage_celery

I had crazy taxi on the gamecube and it was always one of those games you can go back to and play. Still do, I have that and Smashing Drive, the other crazy taxi simulation. I wouldn't mind seeing another iteration of Crazy Taxi for the 3DS.
As for the sonic collection, I didn't even go for it. I have so many versions of sonic (plug'n'plays, sega genesis, atgames sega portable) so really didn't see the need for me.

Re: Soapbox: It's A Tragedy That Rare Replay Isn't On A Nintendo Console

savage_celery

The only reason I'm getting this is because of Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Perfect Dark, all N64 games I loved. Unfortunately I do not own a copy of Bad Fur Day and I don't have Banjo-Tooie. But for 30$USD, I can't complain, at all. The physical N64 copy would be the gem to have but I can settle on saving the money for Conkers BFD, with there physical copies skyrocketing, even for ones that aren't in the best condition.
