I have always enjoyed humble bundle, I get some great PC game bundles from time to time. Really helps when a few games I want to be hit the bundle. For example the Firaxis Humble Bundle: I got tons of Sid Meier's titles and XCOM. And the current Nintendo bundle is worth it. You can't beat the prices for these titles.
I wouldn't mind having a chance to collect more badges. I remember in silver how I could go to Kanto and battling the gyms there. I found it as a fun add on to explore Kanto again. That would be great. Also finding a way to optimize it for the N3DS, something that would add more to those playing on the N3DS. Other than that, I still enjoy the game. I'm really looking forward to the games.
I won't be bothering with these discounts, I will most likely just wait to see what game rewards they will add next. I already have Wario ware ds. I'm hoping to see something good.
This is the reason I have stuck with my 3DS and even upgraded to the N3DS XL. There are a lot of good games to play now, and this lineup is definitely solid. There are still a good amount of games that I need to finish up. I really can't wait for the new Pokemon games and also the two dragon quest remakes. Also, I'm looking forward to Zero Time Dilemma.
Humble Bundle coming in clutch! I want to get this bundle. RCR I have on pc, but the rest I do not have. Unfortunately I do not have a Wii U so those games in the bundle will unfortunately be a waste for me... I do wonder how long the codes last after purchase of the bundle.
Can't wait for both of the Dragon Quest games. Zero Time Dilemma, I really can't wait for it. And Pokemon - I'm always looking forward to. My wallet is going to get destroyed.
I won't be bothering with these rewards, I'm saving for when the put on more games. I've got WarioWare touched. Just keeping my platinum points until the next wave of games, good thing that it shouldn't be too long until they update it. At least I hope. It's the only reason I mess with miitomo for a few minutes a day.
I'm mostly focusing on getting platinum points, so hopping on miitomo isn't for no reason. I'm about to get Warioware Touched. Probably just keep saving my coins for the next round of rewards.
Miitomo so far is nice, they definitely could expand some more in areas. Overall it's a decent app and a good time waster for me.
MyNintendo just makes me glad we have some form of a rewards system back. Though the coins expire a little sooner than desired, it does encourage you to use them. But the fact that physical copies don't earn you anything is kind of a drag.
I had the original 3DS in 2011 and traded it this past summer for N3DS XL at GameStop when they were running a good trade in deal. I don't regret it at all. The N3DS runs so smooth and I rarely get "ghosted" when using gyro sensors in games like Star Fox 64 3D. And just having an XL works better for me, less hand cramping. And the 3D just looks better in games, I rarely play with it off. The SNES games on the N3DS are nice since I don't have the Wii U to get games like Earthbound. Also, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D really drew me in.
I have about 2-3 years worth of Nintendo Power Magazine, as I was a subscriber in it's last few years of it's run. I remember how much I couldn't wait to get the next issue after re-reading the current month's and past month's just for fun. It was also the topic of discussion at the lunch table once we all got our NP issue in the mail.
Really liking the fact that Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is a possibility. I never got to play this one fully, but had the N64 version but this would be pretty good.
Great news, glad to see this finally happen. Since I don't own a Wii U, this works well for me. I'm probably going to grab Earthbound and few others. Hope they release some more SNES games on N3DS VC.
Traded in my 3DS that I bought back in 2011 for the N3DS XL this summer, definitely the best upgrade choice. I really enjoyed my 3ds but I could stand how I could get "ghosted" every once in a while. The N3DS XL has been so much better, and I have played my N3DS way more due to how good the 3D looks. And this time around I really wanted an XL. The bigger screen works a lot better for me.
This is great, definitely hoping this does end up being the nintendo selects being made. I will definitely be picking up LOZ:OOT 3DS, and Super Mario Allstars for the Wii. With Super Mario Allstars and OOT being at $35USD for the used versions, I'm looking forward to this.
This was my favorite game for the N64, such a good game along with a multiplayer shooter that at the time that was the life of the party. And this game has stood the test of time. I could go on about this game, just such a good game altogether.
I was contemplating getting this version of the game, but I don't see myself getting it for the 3DS. As I already own it on Steam for a while before they announced it for 3DS/WiiU, I'll most likely stick with that version.
I really can't wait for Zero Time Dilemma. I can't wait until that comes out. Also, the original pokemon games are in my view for picking up. And whenever Dragonquest 7 and 8 come out will be what I am watching for as well.
I'm just ready for good games. I'm really looking forward to the line-up for the 3DS and N3DS this year. I want to see the Nintendo Account go into effect. And wondering what is going on with the NX.
I'd like to see some more N3DS exclusives made, I want to see them capitalize on the capabilities of the N3DS. Also, maybe some GBA games for the 3DS virtual console would be nice.
A decent year, I would not consider it bad. Splatoon being a solid game. The N3DS was a good move with a faster processor and better 3D for those who constantly got ghosted to the point of not using 3d on 3DS, but they need to capitalize on the system with more crowd drawing exclusive games. If they could do that, it would be great.
This was the first animal crossing I played, i bought the gamecube version a short time after to see the difference. It was a solid game for the ds. But I have new leaf if I really need to play animal crossing.
I'm not really ready for the 3ds era to end, I have enjoyed that system a lot. I bought the original 3ds and then traded in recently for a deal to get the new 3ds xl. I know all systems come to an end at some point. So I'm glad they aren't ending it quite yet. I'm still looking forward to playing a few games like Zero Time Dilemma, Dragon Quest VII, and a few others.
Just checked the eShop earlier, and Im not sure if I am going to be getting anything, though harvest moon tale of two towns is 9USD$ so might lean towards getting that and Inazuma Eleven
Not really what I was thinking would be on the 3DS list, thought they would try to get competitive and price Mario kart 7 for the same as Target is to attract sales. The Ace Attorney Trilogy is catching my eye, along with Rune Factory 4 as a possibility.
Some pretty good deals, the smash splat wii u is a good deal, I'd consider it, but I doubt I will be going out for black Friday for any of this, I'm waiting for cyber Monday.
I got one of these three years ago, I was working at the store and was able to get it half off, I ended up with the edition they decided to recall due to some of the games that were on there (I can't remember which ones it was recalled for, but I know it had to due with a Mega Man game on there) But it was pretty nice, solid collection of games on there.
I don't know if I can believe Amazon with this. At this price though, it's still saving me from a few dollars to pay. My local trading post has the original games at 25$, and that's without knowing if the battery is good and also a questionable condition. I don't know if I'll be getting it right away. But I do wonder if Amazon's price is official.
Finally! I've been hoping for this to happen since the 3ds virtual console began. Even though I own yellow and blue on the gameboy since back then. I will probably end up buying all three for the nostalgic factor, though most likely I'll grab red version first. But definitely a good move from Nintendo.
I think it would be a solid move, for those that didn't get it. Although they need to give the option of using the gamepad or gamecube controller for this game. I own it on both game cube and wii and I really enjoyed using the gamecube controller. In HD, this will be very worth it.
Nice list, though I may pick up on Link Between Worlds. I would like to see them do this with a few more games, possibly OOT3D or Mario Kart. Nintendo selects helped me pick a few games I missed on the Wii earlier in it beginning, so I like the idea, but would like to see more.
Don't see anything this week, I may be taking part of that Capcom sale and finally buy Ace Attorney Trilogy. But I just might save my money for Dragonball Z: Extreme Butoden.
I can see how this is good, only for region unlocking for me that is, wouldn't mind actually getting some jp games that havent released over here (Inazuma, Dragonball Heroes: Ultimate Mission, Corpes Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear... and the list goes on) Just saying, region lock has held me back from some titles I doubt we will ever see come to any other region. I doubt I'll pick up on this exploit but this should show nintendo how serious we are about this region lock issue.
I had crazy taxi on the gamecube and it was always one of those games you can go back to and play. Still do, I have that and Smashing Drive, the other crazy taxi simulation. I wouldn't mind seeing another iteration of Crazy Taxi for the 3DS. As for the sonic collection, I didn't even go for it. I have so many versions of sonic (plug'n'plays, sega genesis, atgames sega portable) so really didn't see the need for me.
As I don't own a Wii U, this shows one of the reasons why. It's a good console with some nice games, but some of those games lacked the use of the Wii U pad that I was expecting. I have played my friends Wii U and it was nice, and the off screen use was cool too. Just more features for the game pad would have really done it for me.
Logged about 40 hours of Terraria on steam. It's a solid game, plus the 1.3 update some nice add-ons. I don't know if I will pick it up for N3DS, but there is always the possibility. Looks like this version will be nice though for on the go.
This game, so many good memories. I thought it was a simple spin off of just taking pictures of pokemon, but it was a great game that was put together. Still one of my favorites. And taking it to blockbuster to get the prints, the feels.
The only reason I'm getting this is because of Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Perfect Dark, all N64 games I loved. Unfortunately I do not own a copy of Bad Fur Day and I don't have Banjo-Tooie. But for 30$USD, I can't complain, at all. The physical N64 copy would be the gem to have but I can settle on saving the money for Conkers BFD, with there physical copies skyrocketing, even for ones that aren't in the best condition.
To me, I never really used it. I often in enjoyed the bad mii post twitter and videos. But it was kinda weird with little kids using as a dating site...
He did a great job, I really enjoyed his Nintendo Directs, always great information on upcoming games around the year. And his success with Hal Lab was great. He will be missed. Great article guys.
