Apparently the official Square Enix store for the Americas is one year old, and as a result there are a whole load of discounts being offered. We previously shared the store's Black Friday discounts last year, and though this promotion is smaller it still offers a chance to pick up some excellent current- and last-gen games.
Without further pre-amble let's get to the discounts for Nintendo system releases.
Wii U
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut - $19.99 (normally $39.99)
3DS
- Bust-A-Move Universe - $9.99 (normally $19.99)
- Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy - $14.99 (normally $29.99)
- Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Limited Edition - $12.49 (normally $24.99)
DS
- Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen - $14.99 (normally $29.99)
- Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride - $19.99 (normally $39.99)
- Exit - $9.99 (normally $19.99)
- Final Fantasy III - $9.99 (normally $19.99) - waiting list orders
- Final Fantasy IV - $9.99 (normally $19.99)
- Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift - $9.99 (normally $19.99) - waiting list orders
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates - $19.99 (normally $39.99)
- Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days - $12.49 (normally $24.99)
- Space Bust-A-Move - $9.99 (normally $19.99)
- The World Ends With You - $9.99 (normally $19.99)
Buying $20 or more of goodies will get you a free lanyard (um... yay?) and depending on where you are and how impatient you're feeling shipping can apparently be a bit much. Still, it's certainly worth checking out your options if these discounts appeal to you.
Are any of you in the Americas planning to take the plunge on any of these deals?

I might get Deus Ex
Seeing as how I just started DQ 4 and was wishing I had the original cartridges, I can't pass this up. DQ 5 ordered.
I missed Dragon Quest V in the last sale, but I got it this time!
Oh cool so they're selling them for what they retailers like Target and Best Buy have been selling them for ages. Most of them still cost more than used game stores, especially Bust A Move. They both can be about $5 used near me.
I loaded up on 9 games during their last sale.
Scored Chrono Trigger for like $5, all the Kingdom Hearts games on DS for $10/ea, some PS4 games and the like.
Hmm, not sure if the trolls are going to touch this one.
I'm sure they'll still find a way to make this modest "meh" sale all about Nintendo's greed and incompetence, and not Square Enix.
Last time I was a bit late, only was able to pick up Chrono Trigger and The 4 Heroes of Light.
This time I was able to pick up The World Ends With You, Dragon Quest IV and Dragon Quest V. My DS library is lacking due to being a workaholic during its time so I'm forever playing catch up.
Put 5 games in my cart. Saw how much shipping to Canada was and cancelled the order. Too bad, some nice stuff there.
Omg more games for the backlog! HIT THE BACK BUTTON! HIT THE BACK BUTTON!
Wait, in the image... is that... is that a Hitman trophy in Smash Bros.?
You can get Deus X for $13.99 on amazon.
Oh that's the actual Final Fantasy III. I had my hopes up for a minute there. Might pick up Theatrhythm at that price, supposedly it's $15 at the local game stores when it's in stock but I've never seen it in stock.
There are a few nice deals here, but the shipping cost alone makes it not worth it. FFIV for the DS is $10, but the shipping is $8 and that is super saver (5 to 10 business days). Nice try, Squeenix.
Maybe I'll get Final Fantasy IV, I haven't been able to find that around here. It is cheaper than here even with the shipping.
Unpronounceable Kingdom Hearts (aka 358/2 Days) is cheaper than amazon, it looks like.
And Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII... soundtrack. Nice troll there, Square-Enix. Almost thought you ported that to something besides old Japanese cellphones.
That shipping cost though.
Wait, they're still selling Nintendo DS games? I was under the impression that new copies were no longer manufactured.
@Discostew @antipop621
But if you order $100 USD worth of stuff, shipping is FREE! You can't afford NOT to take that offer!
I'm obviously being sarcastic, shipping is freaking ridiculous. I ended up getting five games yesterday though.
Lol. I'll go with cheaper prices and free shipping on Amazon any day over this Square Enix online store.
@antipop621 This is exactly what I went through haha. I saw the news break over one nintendoeverything.com and went to check out the sales. I wanted to buy those Dragon Quest DS games but the ridiculous shipping fee turned me off. I don't need DS games in 2 days haha. What the hell SquareEnix? Just throwing money away....
Picked up that selection of Kingdom Hearts music - I've always wanted a U.S. soundtrack rather than importing one, so the shipping wasn't too bad in comparison. Plus that lanyard is cool I guess.
I see people complaining about the shipping charges, and I wonder if they are aware of how much these games were selling for only a few months ago. I'm sure between this and the Black Friday sale, resellers are going to be racking up a fortune after S/E's stock runs out.
I'm surprised what I wanted was in-stock this time. Didn't have a job when DQ4 and 5 remakes launched, now I can finally own them. Maybe some day they will stock DQ6. Figured I'd grab FF3 while I was at it.
Don't miss TWEWY, guys. Seriously.
Does someone here knows if this store imports to Brazil?
Tell me when something similar appears in Europe. Would love to download a bunch of these, especially Deus Ex.
@TossedLlaYes, they are unsold stocks. You get them as if you bought them during the release.
Why the Hell is Deus Ex still $50 on the eshop??
Dragon Quest IV since I didn't pick it up when it came out, still debating if I should add in DQ V in as well, not sure yet.
@TossedLlama what GBA game?
@TossedLlama what GBA game?
