I picked it up for my wife and we found the core game very underwhelming. There wasn’t enough side content (mini-games, challenges, unlockables, etc) to keep us coming back for more than a couple play sessions. Wound up displaying the amiibos and throwing the game onto the shelf to collect dust.

@Chibi_Manny I was curious about that too. I kind of hope this gets ported to the Switch while they're at it

restocks are always good, even if I don't need them. I wish they would do a restock of Mega Yarn Yoshi though, that is the only North American "figure" I'm missing and I don't want to pay eBay prices for it

There is about a 6 month period between mid-October and mid-March where my wife asks me to not buy new games because of Christmas and my birthday in March. I'm hoping I will be able to pick it up after Christmas though

I wound up grabbing a SNES classic earlier in the week (and didn't pay outrageous eBay pricing lol) so I have been playing games on that. I know most of the games are on NSO but I like the novelty of it

I'm tempted, just to grab Transformers. this bundle is cheaper on the Canadian eshop than buying Transformers on it's own (and I can't justify buying Transformers at full priced based on the mediocre reviews...)

I will get this, probably not day one though. I played this on PC back in the day and was disappointed at the original ending. I’m glad they’re (eventually) adding in the expanded content

I’m not sure if this qualifies as an RPG or not but I would like to see a port of Jade Empire, even though that is very unlikely

I think I have most of the virtual console titles that I was planning to grab, but there are a couple of retail titles I want to grab before it shuts down as this will no doubt drive the prices of the harder to find retail titles even higher.

it's higher than I was expecting, but the 4 people on my family plan all have animal crossing, so having the paid dlc included as part of it is enough to justify the price, at least for the first year. hopefully by the time the renewal comes around the N64 and genesis game libraries will be expanded enough to justify maintaining it

To be honest this was my favourite feature of the 3DS. Between my already low street pass numbers drying up and the ending of retailer “buffering” I stopped carrying mine with me.

I was tempted recently to buy it on the Wii U, so I’m glad I haven’t yet. It will be interesting to see how well it translates to modern systems.

As much as I would enjoy replaying this with improved graphics I respect and appreciate his desire to focus on new projects

I’m picking up the smash ones later today. The monster hunter ones will be next week, the local store I get them from haven’t received them yet.

I will grab the Amiibos for sure. Not sure if I will get the game on release date or not.

I’ve played through it several times on PC but I will double dip.

I was hoping this would be coming at some point, but I expected this during a LoZ themed direct. The right joy-con swordplay control scheme might take some getting used to...

I enjoyed the True Crime:Streets of L.A. so hopefully that will get a remake, but only if they keep Snoop Dog as a completion reward (and not hide it behind a paywall).

This is actually one of my favorite N64 games, and I have fond memories playing this one on my cousin's N64.

I have the original version on PC but never got around to playing it. I’m probably going to grab this for the switch because I’ve heard good things.

The only one I was missing was the Arcade Classics Collection. At 75% off I figured it would be worth picking up for the couple that I had an interest in trying...

I did end up grabbing it. What I’ve played so far is definitely clunky enough I doubt I will play it all the way through. I would have preferred to see this offered as part of the Switch Online NES app. Having said that at $6 I’m not out much for trying it....

for what it's worth, these work on the PC version as well. I only know because I opted for the physical Switch version on the Kickstarter campaign and got the PC version as part of the "sorry for the delay" bonus...

I will probably pick up need for speed after Christmas since my wife puts me under embargo every year starting mid October. Same for game and watch so hopefully there will be a restock in the new year...

I will eventually. I’m under my yearly pre-Christmas purchasing embargo so I will have to wait until that’s over. Turns out my wife gets annoyed if I purchase the games she knows I would like as gifts.

I had the original on the Wii and enjoyed it. I kind of regret selling it because it’s something I wouldn’t mind going back to now.

I had both the PC version and grabbed the switch one while on sale for nostalgia purposes.

I wouldn't object to some remasters of older games, specifically the Prince of Persia games (the trilogy and later since I enjoyed all of them for what the were), Beyond Good and Evil, and the Raving Rabbid games since my wife enjoyed the Wii era ones.

I do have fond memories of DKC, I'm glad that it's finally coming to the Switch. Also, I didn't realize that The Immortal had a NES release. I was only aware of the PC version...

My wife had randomly picked up a few packs back in the day and is now regretting not getting more. Personally I was hoping they would do reprints but oh well.

My only issue so far is the lock-on mechanics for puzzle solving. I find the camera angle makes it finicky to position compared to the over the shoulder POV of the mainline games...

I decided to grab it. Figured it was worth double dipping.
