I was lucky enough to get my pre order in for the 2021 batch of playdate. Despite it taking around 10 minutes to get the order through I was 🍀! There is just something very cool and unique about it that intrigues me . Im still gonna be playing tons of switch too but I love the idea of this new yellow handheld . I also have an evercade VS on preorder and a switch oled too . It’s gonna be a bumper year for new consoles !!

The black and white one must be selling well as game is now out of stock of it . I’m sure there are plenty still left to preorder though as we’ve yet to have Amazon or Nintendo store open the preorders up

I’m kind of on the fence about this , I’ve had my switch since launch and play it pretty much everyday . I don’t need to buy this but im tempted to upgrade as it does look like a nice piece of kit

It’s great to see this but tbh even though I bought evercade at launch and the initial carts , I lost interest pretty quickly. I wasn’t totally happy with the feel of the handheld and I didn’t really connect with a lot of the games . Plus they still haven’t launched a firmware update for Mac users so I have basically ignored it until I get to finally update the firmware . I’m glad they are doing well though , I’m a more handheld person so this doesn’t appeal to me and I can already connect my evercade to the tv if I wanted to .

I really like the look of this but I am a bit put off by the review . It seems to back off a lot of other reviews I’ve read about this game . Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind being challenged in a game but not sure I have the patience if it’s as tricky as it sounds . I might bite when it’s in the sale

Just checked price on Eshop , only £20 . Wasn’t sure if it would be full price , so that’s a definite day 1 for me

Never played this and this was the highlight of the direct for me . It looks and sounds stunning

I’m playing it for the first time and loving it

Finally got Zed Blade , loving it , the music is great and it’s great fun

Have to say it’s becoming really noticeable for me at the moment . I can’t say I’ve ever experienced joypad issues like it in any other console I’ve bought.

That’s a cross between a game boy and game gear !

@Clyde_Radcliffe leisure suit Larry is totally worth it at that price . I bought it at that price and loved it . Got about 15 hours out of it . The only thing that lets it down are the puzzles can be on the hard side but that might just be me

Can’t wait for this , I’ve just finished wet dreams . I have to say the main thing that let that game down is that some of the puzzles are ridiculously obtuse, it was still a lot of fun though . Hopefully they can incorporate some kind of hints system in the next one

I finally got this on sale at £7.19 . I’m really enjoying it , it looks really cartoony and the controls are a little weird but you do get used to them . I do agree that some of the puzzles are incredibly random. I’ve got stuck a couple of times and when I’ve looked up the solution the answer it’s been incredibly random solution . However I really like Larry as a character and whilst not all of the jokes are very funny there have been some great moments so far . Well worth £7! Looking forward to the sequel. Maybe we can get some of the older games next ?

Some of these really appeal to me and I think I missed most of these . Really good idea doing this , it’s very hard keeping up with so many releases

I loved the trilogy of the first 3 games by the problem was they were basically all identical , I can’t imagine this will be much different to the rest as it already looks pretty much the same

Tales of vesperia at £10! Think I will get that as I really want something to get my teeth into

The thing is, they are not doing anything illegal. If you buy something say for 20p that’s worth £500 your hardly gonna sell it for 20p and not want to make a profit . If people buy things that are limited for higher prices than originally then it’s up to that person to buy them or not. No one is forcing anyone to buy these , chances are with things like this if there are tons of copies out there then wait a while and your likely to get a better price . I really don’t see what the issue is. If you end making this type of thing against the law then that effectively means your saying no one can ever make a profit something . If you want to limit this type of thing so scalpers can’t grab every copy then make it so people can just buy 1 copy or do some kind of made to order service so everyone can get a copy.

I bought this at launch and tbh I haven’t really played it that much , saying that i still think it’s a great piece of kit. I like the idea of collecting the set so I have got all the carts so far . I’m gonna preorder these ones too. I like the look of the jaleco one. Though I think the piko one is my least favourite so far , way too many sports games

I tend to agree with the idea that Nintendo will then put them on sale individually. This will probably be the pint that galaxy 2 appears. My other theory ( which might be a possibility) is that the reason they are doing this is because they want to push digital / subscription service more and they will then move these games to the online service from next year

Mine kept spinning and I gave up and went back in again and it went through fine . I actually thought they would charge more for this so I’m ok with the price . It’s not essential by any means but it looks quite cute

This is one game in the series I know very little about , so I may give this a try

I’m the same , I never bought it . It just didn’t have the same appeal to me as super Mario world Which I have played and replayed many times . I tried again with this on the switch online service but I still cannot get into it

I have no problem with a free game and I actually liked the previous free game Lydia , the other 2 recent freebies I didn’t like , this one I played briefly and I really like the art style and the game is simple but fun . I guess there is no risk involved here if it’s free ...what do you have to lose ...nothing!

I like the idea of playing the games but tbh I’m not that great at creating , think animal crossing has taught me that recently . So I will keep an eye out for the games but won’t buy the game

I finally bought resident evil 1 , £12 is a reasonable price imo. I’m really loving it as I’ve never played this newer version before and it looks gorgeous.
