My Nintendo NOA is just non-existent at this point.
This news is 1,000,000x more exciting than the last Direct.
(and it's pretty boring news)
Cute, but all my points were used up by the dodo bag!
Still waiting for the Smash Bros envelopes that Japan got to show up on the european My Nintendo too.
Oh this is amazing, getting that right b away!! <3
Considering Nintendo have been sitting on my last order for the Hanafuda cards for over 2 months, & over 9 months for the Splatoon 2 T-shirts before that, I'm very reluctant to purchase these.
6.99 shipping for a couple of disposable items? No way in hell, Nintendo...
Just the shipping....
Gotcha! Gotcha! Gotcha! Gotcha! Gotcha!
NOA gets boned yet everyone gets boned here(shipping costs only, right Nintendo)
I have no platinum points after that dodo bag. 6.25£ shipping to pay twice in a month. I can’t
Edit. I couldn’t help myself. I payed the stupid shipping.
Rip off. And I don't mean removing one memo from the pad.
£6.25 and 400 coins. Don't you feel that you are being mugged by a friendly face.
I'm not getting these but it's good to know the website is working this time.
I don't have a good experience with their store, i ordered snes posters but they send me an e-mail saying they made a mistake and send me the splatoon's one so they send the right one this time. Never received anything, send them email, contacted the postals services and I received an e-mail saying they'll refund me the shipping cost because the posters were send back. When I said that I didn't wanted the refund but that they send me my posters they said they couldn't but I could just reordered, but the offer was gone and my 400 platinum points too.
Back in 2005 you never had to pay the shipping for redeemable items with the old club Nintendo
£6.25?? you can get at least three very similar pads from the shop just down the road.
RIP (and stamp on your grave) Club Nintendo
I've ordered them. thought it would be a bit of fun; after all, £6.25 is whatever value you apply to it ... expensive compared to two generic notepads from most shops for sure, but £6.25 is also less than the two frappucinos I got in a coffee shop yesterday ... all about choices ...
And then we wonder why people would rather import the chinese forgery for a fraction of the price.
“Just pay shipping”, where are they getting their stamps from? Harrods?
Thanks I’ve ordered this ! I always seem to miss these so I’ve snapped this up . £6.25 may not be cheap but I’d say a future collectible
No mention or critique regarding the fact that one can still only pay with a credit card at that store. How pathetic. You cowards scared of Nintendo coming after you if you tell people the truth for a change?
Not at £6 postage I'm not. That's scandalous. Is there some reason why they can't come from Nintendo UK other than being a cash grab?
@Timmytron I paid using my UK debit card - no issues there; perhaps there are regional differences?
I'd love to get these for my girls but seriously they need to review their shipping fees! I'm not paying over £6
Looks like they have actually added "Please note that you need a credit card to place an order." to the page by now, so it's at least possible to tell before spending your points.
Never seen a site accept UK credit cards but refuse UK debit cards even if it only says 'credit cards', but I guess in some countries the systems are weirder.
@nathatruc I had that problem too, but I ultimately got the Splatoon 2 posters and the SNES ones. Sorry to hear you didn’t have the same experience!
Back in the Club Nintendo days when they actually had (some) good rewards, you didn't have to pay anything, Nintendo paid for the shipping as well. What a joke.
@nathatruc same thing happened to me in Germany, but I eventually received the correct posters later.
@rjc-32 plus some of the stuff you could get with Club Nintendo was worth getting like Game & Watch Collection for the DS,Mario Cap,statues, Snes Classic Controller for the Wii, and some Nintendo themed playing cards to name a few
