As a smt fan this hurts.
Shin megami tensei has been almost exclusive to nintendo. (I'm still waiting to buy a switch, smt 5 is what 's gonna get me to buy one.)
But of course, they had to choose the popular ip. (which at the time of writing is kind of irrelevant for nintendo.)

Choose some basic features for each game , make a four page list, put a controversial title like including lets go in the same level as the other mainline titles and pick each game from photos blindfolded.
There you have it, this list.

@Cathousemaster as I understand, you get exp from catching pokemon and you can send "spare" or "unwanted" pokemon like on (pokemon go) to the profesor for exp too.

weren't the let's go games purpose a way to facilitate the transition to the main games for the go fans?
if they have a let's go series of games running alongside main series games that would totally undermine that purpose

@Nintencats73 wrong. My first game was gold. I love gen 2 yeah but my favourite will always be bw2.(gen 8 please surprise me hahaha)
I don't think gamefreak will ever be able to replicate the amount of love and fanservice those games had.

@LordGeovanni I'm in the camp that thinks that a lot of cheaters would stop if the iv system would be removed (or at least make them easy to manipulate like evs).
I like the game, I even tolerate the bike simulator, but playing with rng has never been fun.

Nonsense, federation force may not be a great metroid game but I'd play that over other m any time of the day, week month or year. Not featuring samus is miles better than featuring an abomination version of her.

@FlashBoomerang so much yes, I was wondering why are people surprised by this when south america has had this prices (higher or lower depending the country) since launch. In my country switch costs something from $490 to $550.

You know, nintendo can't split their game library specially now that smt5, fire emblem and pokemon are confirmed for switch, games that are normally asociated with portables.
If they do a portable device it has to be a switch P or something like that.

I wanted to be surprised in 6th gen, when the promise of 3d was in full force.
I won't pay 40$ to be surprised in the wrong ways right now, even more after original S&M.

I cannot wait to play quest 64,mortal combat mythologies and of course superman 64.

well not that I mind, I tried but monster hunter didn't do it for me.

it was the same with pokemon sun and moon, everyone and their moms said that it was the best pokemon game in the universe.
fastforward some months (when the "honeymoon" phase was over)
and some people were already seeing flaws.
some months later and there was even a "faction" realizing that for every step forward, pokemon s&m took two steps back.

come on people, stop that "bezt gAMe of alLlL timeh!!11!1" hype team, let the cooldown do its thing...

good, introduce more things to the game, maybe it will be worth the money in due time, but not yet.
This doesn't even make sense in character context, they will have to pull a very good twist (or a really bad one) to explain why those bosses are working together considering some of them have conflicting ideologies.

EDIT: AW F***, I forgot, the metagame will be total chaos, mega mom, desolate groudon and maybe landorus TT_TT

I don't mind pokemon games with story (Red and blue, RSE, BW2, GSC) because it is usually silly and whatnot, but when they try to get all serious and force that in your face it hurts the role playing experience and fun. (S&M I'm looking at you, I don't want to be lillie's bodyguard in her story when I wanted to be the protagonist in mine.)

I thought that we should have received some final fantasy instead of this game (which looks awesome either way)
but then I remembered that final fantasy games stopped being good since the ps2 era.

was this good? was this bad? I don't clearly understand the motives behind armada's decision.
is there some obligatory quota of women in gaming? do the smash comunity have to clear their name or something? shouldn't this be chosen on merit?
